Ask cafes, if they would like to buy your products? Or sell your own products to supermarket, frozen croissants in a bag / box for customers to bake at home or family time baking.
I have been selling baked goods at farmer's market for 4 years now. I learn something new every year. Sometimes I have a lot left too. Your bread and pastry look delicious. 😊
how about an online form where people can preorder and prepay and pick up either at your bake site or wherever your pop up will be? Make a cut off time for orders and just bring a few extra with you, just in case. Will you give the excess to a homeless shelter or food bank? Everything looks so amazing! I'm not sure where you are but can you go into or near parks? Here we have sausage and other vendors in the park and they are always busy. A walk in the park and a cinnamon bun-sign me up! I would of course need a half dozen or dozen to go to! lol Thanks for giving us an insight into your day.
Could you create your own too good to go concept or make some bread recycled products like almond bread and butter pudding (the need refrigeration I guess). I guess maintaining a whole year of quantity of different product is sold on a spreadsheet is a way of seeing general highs and lows.
I lost my job during the covid period. I started selling patties and my business has grown where I now sell snack boxes, chicken wraps and lunches. Sometimes I do a bit of catering. There are ups and downs but I am not going to give up. All the best.
Your positive temperament is a constant! Even on days when things don't go exactly as planned, you're able to find something to learn from it. I dunno if you've ever considered using any leftover breads and making them into bread pudding? Perhaps offering them as special gifts for purchases of 2 or more next week? But you already are doing quite a lot - so maybe that's for another time. Alright, keep doing your thing! And wishing you continued success in your endeavors!

@@leothebaker I’m an elderly bread maker. What lower brand of mixer would you recommend? Cost is a factor.😊
Why don’t you go to a market area? Perhaps a farmer’s market or a high street?
The local farmers market has a baker already.
