    Oh just watch all three of your SOT videos. So helpful. We bought two mini plants from someone who propagated them. They haven't grown much in the last 3 weeks. I have been spraying them only when dry. But I really appreciated watching your very detailed video 🪴 🌱 🐢

    I have a big string of turtles that is putting out babies like crazy! I'm going to propagate like you did to get more plants. Thanks for the videos!

      Awesome! I still dream of a full, trailing string of turtles plants! Hopefully one day if I’m patient enough! lol😅! I appreciate you taking the time to check out the video! Good luck with your propagating adventures! It would be great to see your results!☺️
      Thanks again for watching!🌿💕

    I know this is a year ago. But I was wondering if you have an update on the babies and how they look?

    I love these videos 😊 how often did you spray/water them ? I just got a tiny 2inch pot of turtles and I have them inside a jar to keep the humidity high and also under grow lights but I’m not sure how often to spray or water them.

      Hiii!!
      I’m so glad you enjoy the videos!☺️
      I give them a spray when the moss/soil starts to feel dry to touch! Not much of a set schedule. I needed to spray them more frequently during the warmer months vs now since it’s cooled off. If the humidity stays high in the jar you can get away with spraying them once a week or so? Just be sure to check on them everyday if possible!
      Hope this was helpful! And good luck with your string of turtle ventures!🐢🌱🌱
      Thank you for watching!🤗💕

    Can I propagate SOT and SOH in same container and repot them in their own pots later?

    • @jenniemoonbloom8736
      @jenniemoonbloom8736  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello!😊
      Yes! Absolutely, you can propagate both SOT & SOH in the same container. They can both be propagated with the same technique! So I don’t see a problem with sharing a container until they are large enough to pot!
      I appreciate your question!
      Thanks for watching!🌱💕

    Hi! Do you keep the ziplock bag sealed?

    • @jenniemoonbloom8736
      @jenniemoonbloom8736  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello!☺️
      I don’t keep the ziplock completely sealed. I always leave a small crack in the seal to allow air circulation! I appreciate your question!
      Thanks for watching!🌱💕

    Mine looks like this in the sphagnum moss and I am scared to move it to soil :/

      I feel you! I’m always so scared to transition my cuttings when they’re already doing so well where they are!
      You can try placing your cuttings and the moss they are already in, on top of a layer of soil and let your roots just grow through the moss, into the soil.(I haven’t tried this personally but I’ve seen others on TH-cam do it with string of hearts!)
      Good luck with your cuttings!🤞🏽

    What’s your soil mix?

    • @jenniemoonbloom8736
      @jenniemoonbloom8736  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hiii!☺️
      Good question! For this particular soil mix I use an organic potting mix as the base and then added 10% perlite/pumice and 10% orchid bark to add aeration properties to the mix!
      THANK YOU for watching!💕🌱
