You all really believe there's a conspiracy going back 500 years? That white people back then cared who's land they were stealing? Why would they do that? They didn't care. This really makes no sense when you stop and think about it. There are a lot of black Americans with native ancestry, but you all are just trying to steal someone else's history and culture. You sound like white folks from a hundred years ago.

I agree...this tradition needs to keep going and be passed down from generation to generation. I will always cherish those moments as a kid going down to Carrolton & Claiborne to catch the Zulu parade with my family. In the near future I will be tracing my family tree, and it will be interesting to see and find my African & Native ancestry.

Copper Empress; You are wrong. Totally wrong. We are not the Native Americans. The only place this false concept exists is here on TH-cam. It's pushed by those who suffer from an identity crisis. You cannot make yourself someone else simply because you do not know who you are. Check your DNA and see just how Indian you are. TH-cam hustlers are making money preying on the ignorance of those who suffer from self-hatred.

I'm from the UK and through my extensive research I know that the true natives and original people of the Americas are black people.
These people originally came from the Pacific islands and sailed to the Americas over 60,000 years ago. Siberians went to America many many years later and took on the native's culture. Years after that, Europeans invaded and enslaved the black natives (with help from the siberians (red indians), took over the land and created the USA. Then sold the partial lie that the black people were all taken from Africa and brought to America.
Only approximately 388,000 African people were taken from Africa and enslaved in America. The black people enslaved were the natives of the land. Africans were mainly brought to the Caribbean, not America.
The official narrative they've given the world is a massive lie. Black Americans are not from Africa, they are American natives and were there thousands of years before the so called Red Indian who are originally from Russia (Siberia) and other countries in that region.
Black Americans, please do some research into your true origins.
Black people are the original peoples of the whole world and was everywhere many thousands of years before any other people came about.
These traditions in the video are originally from your ancestors, not because they mixed with the so called red indians (siberians). The siberans learnt their traditions from your ancestors who came from the Pacific islands (Oceania).
Black ancient people worldwide had similar traditions and cultural ways. In essence their traditions; music, dance, getting into trance etc, etc was primarily to draw and tap into energy, frequency and vibrations. Being in high vibrational states was part of the ancients way of life.
Europeans came and brought darkness to the whole world and the black original people forgot who and what they are and were brainwashed by their oppressors with christianity and Islam. The original traditions and practices aren't taken seriously anymore.
America, North and South, Caribbean, Hawaii and all the world was originally inhabited by black people only. You are the true natives. No one else. Know yourselves...

You are from the UK but you know indigenous American history, huh? Such bollocks. You must be getting your history confused with the aboriginals of Australia. There is no evidence of the red indians of 5000 different dialects usurping another massive amount of cultures within the red race. There is no oral tradition in the native indigenous families neither. There was a lot of intermarriage after colonisation, That is plausible.

I had a commenter tell me "They're not Indians, they're indigenous black people of America". The truth is, they're neither. In the case of the " Black indians of New Orleans" Black Indians denote Black paraders paying homage to the Native American culture of north America. In 1740 in an area referred ton as "Congo square" Africans gathered playing African music and playing drums . This was allowed in New Orleans, a French city that was unlike other parts of America. This music making and role playing became the back bone of the Mardi Gras parade with descendants of Africans paying homage to made up Indian tribes. As far as indigenous Black people. This is a ploy made up on TH-cam by TH-cam hustlers for the sake of "Likes and subscribes". This is a money making hustle that has taken a life of it's own. However, when one leaves TH-cam, the practice ends. This whole movement is pushed by about 10 uneducated street hustlers. This 10 guys make dozens of videos apiece. No 2 ideas are exactly the same since it's all made up. History is not a subject that can be picked up by anyone in the street. The wannabes , however choose to believe these 10 hustlers over noted Black historians such as J.A. Rogers , Carter G. Woodson , Arturo Schomburg, Patrick Vernon , Amos Wilson and a whole swarm of others. On top of this, these wannabes deny the science of DNA. The whole world accepts the science today. We are E1B1A haplo type just like the West African. We look identical the Igbo and Yoruba people. We 're not indigenous to the Americas. There was a small amount of free black people here before the Black holocaust, but the the Africans brought here after the start of the holocaust completely swallow them up. On top of it, those free Blacks were themselves African people. Since when has rappers and street hustlers become historians. The total idea is embarrassing. You can't hide from yourself, everywhere you go - there you are.

Sister Johnson, you are absolutely correct. The extreme fears of the "Pan Africanist" is similar to bipolar disorder. He is obviously under the propaganda historical lies of the Europeanized mixed Asiatic Clovis People's narrative. He fails to comprehend that the recent archeological evidence points to the Afroasiatic people's reaching the Americas over 40 year's before the Clovis People's who arrived merely 13,000 year's ago as Historically documented and proven. The pan Africanist has no explanation of why the anthropologist and archeologists are now stating that the first Americans were of African origin and populated the Southeast Asian peninsula as early as 100,000 year's ago before migrating across the seas inhabiting the clusters of island's that dotted the ancient seas untill reaching the Americas. Their facial reconstructions of the skeletal remains, revels that fact as non Clovis People's??? The thousands of years of intermixing between the Aboriginal and Indigenous "Clovis People's" produced an array of genetic mixtures never seen before. Dr. Clyde Winters already addressed this issue long before the archeological and anthropological evidence. The arrival of the European's upon the continent, created a paradigm shift, as their technology would overwhelm the more advanced in Natural civilization but primative in weapons were defeated and genocidal and slavery actions commenced. The "Pan Africanist Freedman" narrative is Dead on arrival as University academic of the highest repute laugh it out of the dialogue as undermined colonial Supremacist KKK propaganda and revisionist History. But if you're desires are to remain a "Stateless" Person and chattel property of the federal government corporation [District of Columbia] your free to do so but don't expect the rest of us, who knows our Nationality Heritage to the Americas to pick that cotton with you ~

I have never seen anyone give such an amazing comment about these fraudsters... Thank you!!!
The one I would not agree with is that the Mardi Gras Indian culture doesn't derive from Congo Square.
By the time the Black Masking Indians showed up on the scene of New Orleans, Congo Square gatherings had been banned for about 80 years.
When you read about the historical gatherings of Congo Square, the masking, dressings and drumming was much more Africanized. The style of Head pieces they wore were much more in African style (Not imitating Native Americans) and some similar to the box hats worn in Lafayette, LA for Mardi Gras.
Even the style of talking they do and behaviors is not real life Native Americans but very akin to how Native Americans were portrayed on Western movies.

We are definitely indigenous dark colored people of America!
Everyone in the world originates from Africa
People migrated out from Africa 50,000 plus years ago
People have been in this land for literally thousands of years
Not many Africans came to America through the slave trade
Only 3% of the total slaves came to America! “Black” people are indigenous to every continent on the planet. But we are not all the same
Especially in New Orleans we are a mixture of African and native and a lot of people have much more native blood than African.
Have you ever heard of the one drop rule?
It says you only need 1/8 of african blood to be considered black. (That means only 1 of your great 16 grandparents could be “African” and you would be considered negro)
      Why is that??

    • @jbird9220
      @jbird9220 ปีที่แล้ว

Nonsense. There is no other remnants of Indians in New Orleans other than black Indians, five dollar Indians and Mexicans who migrated there over the past decades. The oldest graves in New Orleans are black people. Especially the ones found beneath the city. Thievery of black culture happens till this day. New Orleans natives do not have a image of any lighter hue people during cultural second lining.
