Once again I want to thank Claus and Erica for inviting me to visit this incredible museum! You MUST put this on your to-do list if you’re visiting or if you’re a local.
I have a old video on the history of Storyville, there are some people who were interviewed back in the early 1950s and early 1990s that saw the district in the late 1910s. Fascinating history, as one person put it " Storyville was the last gasp of the Victorian era trying to control human nature". Thank you for the tour, love New Orleans and so glad you are back making videos.😘💕🙏
Years ago I read a book on Storyville. It was amazing and yet sad. A rough way to make a living. Thanks, next tome I am in NOLA I will have to check it out.
Tremendous! This appears to be located 1 block away from where Musee Conti Wax stood for many years and similarly showcased a lot of the city's history. I am extremely excited to visit
This is beautiful, well curated, interesting and important. However, the admission fee is about $35 per adult including taxes and fees. I know a venture like this is time consuming and expensive, but I do hope that they incorporate some days with pricing that will be more accessible for the general public.

I've heard rumors for a few years that a Storyville Museum was in the works. So glad it's a reality! Can't wait to check it out - thanks for sharing!
It’s most definitely a must-do!

Very impressed. Not cheap, but I suspect well worth it if you are a fan of NOLA history.
Definitely worth it
I absolutely love these kinds of history museums. Great video.
I do too, and this is one of the best I’ve ever seen

I fell in love with New Orleans from Anne Rice books 📚. Thanks for the boots-on-the-ground history, love the “Baby Dolls” approval.
This was very interesting
Thank you! It was such an informative and interesting place! I loved it
@@NOLADEEJ I’d enjoy seeing a lot more of the history. Your city is such an amazing place. Its soul is so alive.
I really enjoyed it
I miss the old wax museum on Conti. Great video, NOLA DEEJ. I'm gonna check out storyville soon.
Yeah would love to have seen that wax museum! Storyville I highly recommend, it was awesome!

It’s a reasonable price for admission in my opinion, and definitely worth it
It’s where the old musée conti wax museum was . I think it was Charlie Weaver’s Soldiers of the South before that.
I believe you’re right!
Very cool! I was kind of hoping that your name would be Nola, Erica.
I’m writing a novella set in 1917 in New Orleans, I’ll have to come by
I would love to visit the museum but not at $31.50 per adult.
I had no idea that disgusting ratchet corner store at 1216 bienville was a historic building. People regularly get shot there. I avoid that corner.
