You guys are the closest people to living saints for someone like me. The amount of suffering you can curtail in this world is absolutely beyond measure. People who don’t get cluster headaches can never know the associated cosmic, existential horror and I’m happy for them, more than they’ll ever know. Much to my surprise, mushrooms have helped me out and the fact that researchers are taking this (among other treatments) seriously is very, VERY good. Keep up the good work, guys. I’m not a religious person but if there’s any sort of reward in the afterlife, you guys are first in line as far as I’m concerned.

When i was younger I would take doses of mushrooms every few months for fun. I was also getting clusters at that time but they seemed to be more one year I would get them some years I wouldn’t. Now putting the pieces together it was likely that I took the mushrooms near an upcoming cycle. I am currently at the start of a cycle and already took a 1 g dose at the beginning and I was attack free for several days. They came back as they usually do, and I’m am about to take a significantly higher dose with hopes of a few more days pain free. Wish me luck. Thank you to the doctors willing to do this research. It means the world to so many.

Hey man how are you doing regarding the clusters? Im 31 and have my first cluster period just now, its been two weeks so far, with one to two hitting me every day. Im just curious if the psilocybin has continued to help you? This is the most diabolical, paralyzing pain ive ever felt, it truy breaks me. I think am going to give the psilocybin a try to treat these clusters.

You should consider the SPUT method as described at clusterbusters. I had my doubts, but it works. Please inform yourself "deeply" before you do this. Works fairly well for me. I have also learned to avoid alcohol when a cluster starts, but that's only to prevent additional individual headaches. @@WAgunfun

I've been suffering from ch for the last 15 years. I started a new cycle three weeks ago, and I was desperate to find relief. My doctor prescribed prednisone and sumatriptan. That didnt seem to do much to stop the attacks, so I got online and started researching. Out of desperation, I went out and found shrooms. After taking a very small dose, I noticed that the intensity of my headaches reduced that night. I'm on day three now, and my headaches have almost stopped completely.

In my experience with cluster headaches and trigeminal neuralgia I started a 5 gram dose once a month and micro dose them to manage the pain when it pops back up. Going on about 8 months and my symptoms have gotten so much better I don’t even have to take high doses monthly anymore. These are truly magic medicine. I hope your doing well and I’m happy to hear they are helping you 🥰🤍🍄🦋

Just now ended my normal cycle,
20 years of 2 month periods daily clusters.
Triptans were always hit or miss.
Self prescribed psilocybin and can't say for sure I'm not a doctor.
But indescribably happy to say 2nd year in a row not a single headache.
For those of you who have been thru this kinda thing understand how big of a deal this is.
In my opinion risk vs reward worth it

The way I describe my cluster to the doctor, is that it feels like the worse brain freeze I ever had or an ice pick from the inside of the eye. I broke my fingers years ago and will gladly trade the pain of broken fingers for a cluster no contest. I was able to sleep with broken fingers for 4 hours, can't do that with my clusters. Once I got the fingers to the doctor he ask why I waited so long and I told him I had a cluster all night and when I broke my fingers it had let up so I slept before I decided to get it treated. Both the nurse and doctor looked at me like I a nut. The mushrooms always worked for me, but the problem was finding it in my area.
Hope no one ever has to deal with those and if you do may you find what helps stop them.
    Good luck and God bless

All I have to take to help with a migraine is one dried B plus rolled up into a pill size e and swallowed whole. Loke a pill. I don't feel ANY effects of the mushroom, but I do feel IMMEDIATE relief. The first time it happened, the pain went away in pulses and I was completely better in 15 minutes. I cried like a baby seeing this new found knowledge.

I had my first full attack at the age of 18. My attack lasted about 3 weeks and most Doctors then and a lot now have never heard of Cluster. My younger years was not fun as my attacks lasted 3 to 5 weeks, then I would be free of them for 2 to 3 months. My parents took me to a specialist that done a brain scan and a blood flow and told me it was cluster, prescribed Cafergot and Codeine. When I had these excruciating Migraines it was hard to get relief without an injection as the chills and dry heaves were severe and it was like a dagger being shoved through your temple. I also had thought about suicide back when I was young because of the nonstop torture. Then you always had some Doctors believing you were at the E.R for pills even though I had never drank alcohol or smoked. After Imitrex came available, it would help if I took it before the vomiting started. The best thing ever that I wish they would have used years ago is BOTOX. The first time I got Botox, I was free of headaches for 15 months. The 2nd time I had no Migraine of any kind for 2 years. I get Botox every 28 to 30 months. Botox has been a miracle for me. I hope this helps some of you.

@@byee69 My preferred strain is B+. My dosage is similar to what you just stated. But it's best to take it before the headache starts. For me the clusters would come in the afternoon (I imagine due to coffee wearing off), so I would take them an hour before it starts. I have them in pill form in which my doses are precise. If you take them during a headache, it might reduce the time, but it also might not. LSD is also something that works, but I can't sleep even on a microdose of that. I can sleep on shrooms though, dreams be wild but better than being up all night in pain.

Shrooms actually gave me the worst headache I’ve ever had when I woke up the next morning. Had a great trip but woke up in the middle of the night and my head hurt so badly I couldn’t even open my eyes.

This happened to me last week. I really thought I'd be able to sleep through the night having dosed that day but nope. Was the worst night that month. Tried again this week and got one night relief then they came back smh idk if I should take bigger dose but idk if they'll get worse or better at this point feeling pretty discouraged

migraines are neurotoxic. shrooms are nootropic.

I would do ANYTHING. You have no idea what I would be willing to do to stop a cluster headache attack. I will inject in my gums it stops it.

I suffer from migraines and daily chronic headaches and I've taken shrooms several times over the last year and it did nothing for my headaches....but I did have fun!

If Migraines are a CNS disorder due to an excess of stimuli then how would psychedelics a stiulant help? Because it permanently changes brain chemistry?

I took magic mushrooms many many times as a teenager and started getting cluster headaches at around the same time. Lasted for 25 years. Figure that one out!
