Anyways, I loved the Performance ( did see one Live* ROGOLETTO PERFORMANCE , AT CHICAGO LYRIC , some ten years ago with my Daughter …. A couple DVD STUDIES, &. I AM Not really familiar with MS SIENA , OR RIGOLETTO.. IN ESSENCE , I LOVED THE PERFORMANCE , & Ms Siena…!
I'm addicted to Nadine. She's a sweetheart, very generous, very intelligent, extremely talented. Can't wait to see her sing Gilda next spring at the Met.
It's true. I'm from Italy and I can promise no singer here would give important and precious singing tips for free like Nadine does and in general American singers do. Also, I think now the level of good teaching is higher in the US than in Italy, where teachers are way too expensive and ruin too many voices.
I couldn't help myself but shed tears at the perfection Nadine has proven. It is my first time stumbling across this amazing soprano. For over 10 years I have listened to the legends; Callas, Freni, Nilson, Scotto, Tebaldi, etc. Personally she is the Freni kind of soprano and am confident that she is one of the saviors of opera who is just as good as the legends. I look forward to her professional development as one of the top sopranos on earth.
She lies down on the bench and continues to sing in pure tones up and down the scale. If I did that, it would be like self waterboarding with an accumulation of moisture in the throat.
