Hahaha. Man, I am so sorry the fail clips win the most. But we all can feel it, and somehow it feels like living part of it with you. I wish you all the best, I hope you can keep goin strong, And I keep you in prayers. GL Dom, Much love.
The resilience is one thing but the ability to come out of a near miss that could have been so much worse, brush it off and continue with training is what really gets me. How does that not wreck your confidence with the next jump? Parkour is as much a mental game as it is a physical one. The mental fortitude to go this far is unbelievable

Full recovery is an illusion, your young body just writes cheques your old body has to pay for. I personally know several "semi-pro" motocrossers and few other x-sport freaks...It gets rough past your 30s and really bad past 40s. I for one salute you Dom for pushing the limits of what is or isn't possible
i think that really is true, that your bails are more what you're known for, but i think that's only because a) you fucking send it and it's a beautiful thing to watch, and b) that outrageously keen aerial awareness means 99 outta 100, the bail itself is some impressive movement and body memory
Gnarly! That second one is always hard to watch. Credit for putting that up. Storror actually removed their compilation a couple of years ago (probably for good reason as it was pretty gruesome) Toby's teeth in the seesaw was, you could feel it.

Don’t get me wrong Dom is literally within a league of his own when it comes to sheer commitment and follow through, but it’s undeniable he’s conditioned his body slowly over time to withstand trauma, impact, and threshold for pain. I’d suggest at very least a modern day helmet designed specifically for the sport but even I could see that being a hinderance for all parkour purists. In any case, much love from NYC, no one deserves the success more than Dom!
I noticed it long ago, but his immiediate reaction to each of his falls is to spring up and smile at the camera/crowd. almost as if he cares more about their perception of the fall than the fall itself. like "im ok everyone, dont worry"

Very nice vid, Educational and hearing insights is always refreshing! yes there was a lot of luck involved but your skills saved you more, most people would've been totalled.
You've been one of the most consistent parkour people over the past couple of years. I've enjoyed watching you push yourself as you explore your craft. Keep up the hard work, and stay safe. 🙏
I have no idea how you do this - but I guess your experience is what saves you when you can see it going pear shaped and you can adjust. Either way, keep having fun and take care of yourself.
So happy you are OK and so skilled and focused. Thank you for your dedication, how you give yourself to Parkour and people, inspiring the community. Bless on you
Absolutely amazing! Best fails in the game. :D It'd be nice if you could make a video about rating your scariest flips (mainly some of the mad front flips) you've done. What was your thought process like before the jumps, etc.
You never know when something is going to 'go wrong’. The only broken bone I've had was from from a jump on undulating ground between two (commercial) ski runs, but I have walked away from a 2000 ft fall plus an avalanche; but then again I have had to say far well to many a fellow adventurer. If you love it , do it
Dom please do take even better care of yourself especially when you fail! We can't lose you and longevity is important! I hope you take loads of silica, MSM and collagen!!! Stay safe and take more time to heal proper. You can still practice the mental side while taking a break from the physical aspect! Love and healing mojo to you! I just had my own epic fail running into a spiraling downwards to the right garage in the rain in NYC. I had 3 bags in my left hand and a plastic bin container for my vitamins in my right hand I put my heel of my hightop on the steel grate aiming to the left, as the garage turns quickly down to the right and I felt like I slipped on ice! The grate sent that right foot to the left as I flew face forward towards the ground and hit the corner of my container with my sternum and right hand on the ground, splayed but the impact on that container and the ripping of the muscles from the angles and downward spiral trajectory is still hurting now!!! I got up and was fine and thought I dodged a bullet and didn't smash my face, but 2 days later it all set it, and by the end of the weekend my chest and face turned yellow from bruising! Unreal! All in a NYC second!!! Watch out for wet steel grates, especially when they are in a parking garage that spirals steeply downwards!!!
I feel like the fails that look the worst are usually not too bad. I recently fell on my face from 9 feet, it really wasn't that bad. Except I couldn't eat solid food for around 2 months... that summer was hell. Still insane how you manage to get away without insane injuries most of the time! You're made of steel!
Having confidence in your competence is so critical: and to still have it after a fail is the crux to attaining success in parkour; even more than in rock climbing.
