Just about everything they do comes with inherent risk of very serious injury or death.
Once you're over 30, you know better than that to do stunts like that.

Moving someone with a potential pelvis injury like that is a really, really bad idea.
That injury was handled really badly. Next time don’t move them and call an ambulance
ye that was rougher to watch than the fall itself, think it over before you try to move your homie after a bad bail
aggreed, thats what ambulances are there for after all. For all I know from the footage that hip could have been shattered. But I dont wanna step into jaydens zone of freedom, maybe he felt that driving there on their own was ok. Though, all advanced parkour self awareness aside, shocked injured ppl should never judge their own condition.
Edit: wrote this before the announcement of jaydens injury at the end of the vid. Hope it heals well and he recovers fully in the quickest manner!

@franmati9 first time in years commenting under a parkour video, but here we go: Bro that was a SHITSHOW.(and i fully agree with you) Let me first be clear here, i am not an medical expert for internal injuries and i might also would have gauge the situation wrong. But here are a few things going on that back in the day would have been judged by my fellow parkour peers.
1) Comepetion: i mean i know it´s fully in the parkourculture now and so is life --> competitive.
Jaydn is cleary pushed into a 1:1 competition against dom, and they are both pushing limits, okay both are adults but on this edge of actual humanly possible precision you see how fucking dangerous it is.
And some kids watching should now it.
2)I speak some harsh truth here, that no "positive thinking fuckt**d" wann hear: Guys like jadn and most other "parkour pros" are building their identitiy, monetary income and selfesteem around their ability to perform freerunning/parkour - In the clip you see, most likely everything is ripped apart from this guy in a splitsecond. And i hope his recovery prove me wrong - but such injuries are potentially, if not lifthreathening, career ENDING. - there is some potential you see this guy the last time jumping around pain free.
- So fuck you "positive hapyy as* attitude" towards such bails

- help this guy
- and for god sake don´t put it in 5 different Videos for viewes.
- Don´t bottle flip next to someone inpain.
- Stop your "session"

I have had a potential life threatening injury in a very similar situation. Thank god i am okay. Wake up every morning grateful. But man videos likes this need some solid perspektive.

Dom tomato is professional. I get the feeling we are ignoring his experience n skills. Absolutely awesome for him to share the pain n gain from the alite sport. I wish I could watch all his n storer videos n never see an accident n also know no accident occurred. But that's not possible.

Dom, love you and your videos, but y'all let Jayden down when he hurt himself. He obviously needed an ambulance, not a bunch of people cracking jokes and manhandling him. Hope you guys do better about that in future

Anyone know how Jayden is doing post-pelvis shatteration? Dunno why his mate was downplaying it at the time - it was clearly nightmare fuel. "You okay yeah 👌... you sure 👍🏻." "Yeah, You're just winded..." - did his mate a massive disservice because everyone will just latch onto that dismissive and completely unqualified assessment.
If you've got friends who want to try really big stuff, highly recommend just cracking on and getting a basic first aid certification.
Looking back at Abdulla's kong pre fall, Drew's ankle break, Jayden's broken pelvis... thinking of the levels of risk as they are right now after recent "levelling up" - folk need to know what to do in an emergency. In that Jayden situation it's bad enough that he was being egged on to do it instead of just being left to figure it out for himself in his own time - but people were just carrying on filming (looking at the world through a camera lens creates detachment making you less present in the moment), Callum bottle flipping next to his head in one video while the poor lad writhes in pain?! People trying to be a big man and move him off the wall (presumably in a rush to carry on the session!) etc. It was a horror show. Lad could've gone into nasty shock, he needed his pain managing (gas and air to get him moved and then something stronger once he was under blankets and safe) and proper observations doing.
Seriously, just call emergency services. He'd have been seen to immediately by trained paramedics and would've arrived as an emergency at the hospital that way too. Lessening your friends trauma and suffering.
Love you all and want you all safe(r than that).
This footage is even worse, people celebrating the bail... Dom, you acknowledge he doesn't need your camera sticking in his face, but it doesn't stop everyone else. Learning point would be someone needs to take charge and just take the whole thing seriously. In the UK if you're unsure you can call emergency services and explain the situation the call handler will walk you through it. That way, you wouldn't have had some douche trying to lift him on their own. Paramedics regularly attend non-injury falls, often elderly folk who have gone over and are in shock, but haven't actually done any damage - but it's better to be safe than sorry. Point being don't worry about the potential of wasting time. Again, admissions process for an injury like Jayden's = super important. Gives the hospital a chance to prepare etc.
As a former paramedic this scene was horrifying, how wasn't there a single person who knew what the fuck to do?
In climbing, mountaineering and even downhill biking we regularly take courses what to do in emergency situations and first aid, but apparantly parkour hasn't evolved that far where people take that stuff seriously.
@@ShaneMundane I used to road bike 15 miles to work every day and after seeing a pedestrian hit by a HGV and not being certain how best to help (obviously I just called for an ambulance), I realised how important it was to get some first aid training, as being on a road bike I was likely to witness other stuff like this. About 2 years later I witnessed an elderly lady called Rosemary flipped into the air by a lad who tore through a pedestrian crossing and I knew exactly what steps to take in that situation. I had a foil blanket in my pack and I just talked to her and took cues from the 999 call operator until police and ambulance arrived. Call it karma or just luck, but in April this year when I was in a high speed road traffic collision (me on road bike vs toyota hilux, completely ignoring 2 junctions and hitting me full speed from the side nearly ending my life) I was lucky enough to discover that when I got my camera footage back an absolutely superb example of a human being called Nicole who had done basic first aid training was with me within 45 seconds of the incident. She absolutely took full charge of the scene. And further to my luck, 2 mins later an ambulance passed by - purely by chance and stopped and began piecing me back together and getting me on a stretcher etc. One of my internal injuries was a torn aorta, and another was a pneumothorax/punctured lung (so simple things like the correct recovery position, not moving me/encouraging me in my zombie state not to move myself and observations were absolutely essential). I was in the road for 30 mins before being loaded into an ambulance and although conscious for the whole thing I have no memory until shortly after my pain was managed - the Brain's way of protecting us with repression etc. I'm only recounting all of this because I'm ultra sensitive and empathetic to people suffering injury and trauma right now, due to my own experience. The risks and levels in Parkour right now are unbelievable to see, but with that, folk OWE it to their fellow athletes to know how to respond in an emergency.

I just don't understand how you can dedicate your life to a high risk sport and not take a few hours to learn the basic principles when shit happens.

These parkour jams are a mess... a lot of peer pressure and people trying to outdo others.
Usually dom's videos make me want to get up from couch and go jumping, but this video Made want to Sink deeper into my couch and never jump again. Hoping for a speedy recovery to the guy.

I respect you Dom but most of the videos on this channel are not serious enough - there's wayyy too much silliness involved. Like not good silliness either, it comes of as childish and annoying. Normally it's bearable because the tricks are just so beast, but I can't even express how much I disapprove of the actions taken after the injurious jump. "I'm not sticking a camera in his face but OH HEY HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO!!!!!! NICE SOMEONE GOT REALLY INJURED JAJJAJAJAJAJA" I know there's a ton of comments on this video that are expressing the same sentiment, just know if this type of behavior continues, especially in serious moments like the injury, you will lose fans/views.
Not going to lie, this comment sounds real parasocial. Most of us don't know either of these guys personally so to say one reaction is hurtful or not is really between them. I'm giving dom the benefit of the doubt here by saying he means no ill will. When it comes down to it, sometimes in these situations we make mistakes like these due to the atmosphere and social pressure. Everyone there knew how bad the situation was, and they did ultimately take is seriously.
Maybe you should seek out a cause more worthy of your overzealous, irrational, off base, and annoying criticism. I would imagine someone as sensitive to such trivial things, that yourself has little or no knowledge of the dynamic or what is actually taking place, could find something worthy of your unsolicited opinion. He makes the videos how he wants to because he's the one making the videos and that's who he is. There is no rule or correct level of seriousness that needs to be applied to any and all videos containing parkour. So, why don't you either go make your own parkour videos that you feel convey the correct level of professionalism and/or maturity, or take a break from your self appointed position as TH-cam video critic/maturity watchdog. Turns out the job you're attempting to hold is no longer needed, wanted, or required. Good luck with future endeavors.
Agree... Dom comes off as a major tool in this vid and "the community" sound like a bunch of chuckleheads. The difference between the concentration of Storror and Dom's groupies couldn't be more stark. The injury update at the end was in very poor taste as well. I hope he heals up and doesn't remain "disabled Jayden JAJAJA" (ugh what a bad friend Dom is).

Maybe one time viewers may see dom as reckless but if they have seen a few videos they would know just how much prep and work goes into these moves. While it could have been handled better, I don't think it was nearly as bad as the clickbaity parkour fail comp videos that are more trendy among that crowd.

Sport always comes with certain risks. Broke my twelfth thoracic vertebra and first lumbar vertebra on a scuffed landing. Was almost out for a year with a bunch of metal in my spine. But now im back in action. Hope Jayden recovers soon!
