@@craigkendell5706or it’s a hybrid from a polar bear that fu€ked a grizzly. It’s happening more and more because of rising global temps. Grizzlies can get further north, polar bears can get further south. It’s either a grolar or a pizzly (real names) depending on which parent is what. Probably one of the reasons they’re tacking it. You can see it in the face, that’s not a grizzly face. But it does have a grizzly hump. Also why it’s so big. Part polar.
they know with its fur it wont get many meals - they are probably feeding it IF it cant get food like a deer but its big enough to find stuff now most likely
Contrary to what some are saying, this not a "Spirit Bear". It's rare white/ blonde grizzly. Spirit bears come from black bears and black bears lack the distinguished shoulder "humps" that grizzlies and brown bears have.
For those wondering, this is a Kermode bear. A somewhat rare species of bear native to the coast and islands of BC Canada. 95% of Kermode bears are black, but if they get a specific recessive gene from both their parents they can be born white. White Kermode bears are called Spirit Bears, and there is whole lot of native folklore about them! Edit: I’ve been informed that this actually a crazy impossibly pale blonde grizzly from Banff.
There's usually a lot of folklore and good luck related to white individual of a usually darker colored creature. White buffalo, white hart... I'm sure there's others.
This isn’t a Kermode bear, the Kermode bear is a subspecies of the black bear which is much smaller than a grizzly and lacks the prominent shoulder hump that is a distinctive characteristic of a grizzly.
Yeah Kermode/spirit bears are black bears not brown/grizzly I think this maybe a Grolar which is hybrid for polar bear mating with grizzly. The polars at really struggling to survive unfortunately
spirit bears are a subspecies of black bear and have a yellowish coat. this is actually an extremely rare white grizzly bear, hence the collar on it neck. her name is Nakoda.
Look up white giraffe. It is a genetic anomaly (although the giraffe was genetically altered by a Rockefeller because he thought a white giraffe would be cool).
@Donzilla17 yep... Only Americans would think of themselves first. It's an embarrassment to us Americans that can think for ourselves!! Plus, it's sad that they think that America is the only place that cool things happen. It be fair...these bigoted views are learned. Those ignorant enough to think this way were raised by those that are just as small minded so ignorance just perpetuates generation after generation. The good thing is there are some of us that don't think like that. More and more of us are willing to admit we aren't #1 24/7/365...you should see how we are treated. It's unbelieveable! I've been told I am un-American because I said we didn't have the best Healthcare in the world. I ended up having to have security walk me out to my car because they just couldn't let it go.
@@struBANGand now you just assume that Syco knows what they are talking about. Yes it is protected, it has a tracking collar. No real legal hunter would shoot it IF they see that its tagged. But of course it still can happen, and assholes are everywhere, even in the woods
Could be a grolar bear. I don't know how true it is but supposedly in some place it isn't uncommon for polar bears and grizzlys to mingle and they create a hybrid species aptly named a grolar bear.
@@trentgreen5657super uncommon actually, but that can and does sometimes happen in the wild. Grizzlies and polar bears share a small amount of territory, and even then they live in different areas, grizzlies on the mainland and polar bears mainly staying on ice caps. So there’s only a few confirmed cases in the wild, but it has happened. The person in the video should feel very lucky if that’s what they saw!
I hate that but I think it's bcuz of the Polar bears that are mating with Grizzlies and they're trying to learn em. Bcuz of global warming destroying their source of food they come inland looking for it and end up interacting with native bears to that area. A documentary I watched several months ago showed Polars actually hunting humans

@@feliciagaffney1998lies.. Whyte usually means to destroy.. 😂
Nice ! Thanks for the info
Yeah Kermode/spirit bears are black bears not brown/grizzly I think this maybe a Grolar which is hybrid for polar bear mating with grizzly. The polars at really struggling to survive unfortunately
For anyone wondering what it is, this is called a spirit bear. They are rarely seen in the forest.
