I thought when I landed s monster Shellcracker some weeks ago on Smith Lake I would never better myself landing bluegill on this Lake----well this past Thursday morning fishing with Jeff I landed what I think is the largest bluegill I've ever landed using my 4wt. Redington 9ft. fly rod. I was using a 9 ft. leader with a 5X tippet and a grasshopper that has to be the most realistic hopper I've ever used.
