Will you create a studio in a box for yourself? Or someone else? Or BOTH?!

I love your little kit. Nothing like a medium box to hold all your goodies. I tend to use a diaper bag for my art "box". It holds all my journals, watercolors, sketchbooks, pens, and random supplies. I love that I can just lift it by the handles and take it anywhere in the house.

Thanks, Wendy! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I LOVE diaper bags for art supply kits, too - as they usually have some nice waterproof features (plus a place to stash the wet wipes - one of my favorite art supplies!

My sister has a Fine Arts degree so I never wanted to create anything that would be compared to what she does. But, I have soooo wanted to be creative. I just never felt confident or like I had any skill. But I'm going to create my own Art Studio in a Box and get started with a creative practice. Not sure what that is yet but I want to find out. Thank you so much!!

It’s that time of year that I gather some art products from my detached studio to use inside my home during the winter. I love creating any kind of kit and gathering inspiration from others. I’m using a tool caddy bag from Harbor Freight (I think) to contain my stuff. I’ll add my tempera paint sticks (kids’ art supply like gelatos), water brush pens, tiny spray bottle, stabile all pencil, 6x6 or less stencils, journal, touch of fodder in an envelope, gel pens, acrylic paint pens or micron pens and spend my winter creating on a tiny scale. Thanks for your inspiration!

I have a box like this that I found at Hobby Lobby, it has a handle on the top and a tray that lifts out, with plenty of room underneath. I’m amazed at the amount of supplies I can cram into it. I love your videos! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️

Hi Lisa, I love this idea! I'm about to move interstate and stay with my Mum until I find a place. I really like this idea to keep it compact but it will still allow me to get creative. Thanks for sharing this :)

Yes, Julie! This is all about keeping things compact and portable, so you can keep up your creative practice. Good luck with your move and let me know how this works for you.
