  • There is no such thing as too much garlic when it comes to this fragrant Filipino fried rice.
    Save this recipe: taste.md/2fziGUU
    INGREDIENTS:
    2 heads of garlic, whole
    1 tray of peeled garlic
    4 eggs
4 cups of cooked jasmine rice
    Olive oil
    Salt and pepper
    White vinegar
    Red chilli flakes
    2 scallions
    Butter
    STEPS:
    1.) Salt the oil.
2.) Fry the garlic in that oil until slightly brown.
3.) Keep half in the pan. Half out. Add your rice to the pan, mix and season with salt.
4.) Fry your eggs. Dust with paprika.
5.) Add in some sliced scallions to the rice.
6.) Make the sauce by mixing your vinegar, some sliced garlic, and one chopped red chilli together.

What does living abroad gotta do with you missing this dish? Last time I checked there's garlic pretty much all over the world, ya? Just sayin.

    • @lyratan7164
      @lyratan7164 7 ปีที่แล้ว +16

Yes, but I'm in college right now and the only thing I can use to cook in my tiny dorm room currently is a microwave -- not really great for making garlic rice, as you can imagine. However, next year, I'll have full kitchen, so I'm looking forward to making garlic rice more often!

@@patrixfunny Yeah kind of strange unless you follow Filipino celebrities. That guy who is cooking is the husband of a TV personality in the Philippines named Ann Curtis. Her husband is named Erwan Heussaff who is Australian and is the chef in this video. She was just saying she was envious that Ann gets breakfast made by this guy Erwan lol. But yes if you aren't Filipino or up on Filipino celebrities, her comment is WTF you talking about 😅
