Getting a new instrument and coming up with an entirely new composition, an album cover and a song name out of scratch is truly mind boggling. I truly salute your creativity 👏
@saujanyapoudel8910 I didn't realize I was commenting on the wrong video man..I'd just watched Zakk Wylde playing N.I.b on a hello kitty guitar.. my mistake. Sorry.. that's a good video btw. Peace ✌️
The sweep picking is so freaking precise and effortless. Your right hand is like a machine. This is why human beings are a better technology than AI. This sounds like a legit metal ballad and has Nordic permafrost vibes. 🤘
So pretty! So light and fun! The tone is very open, So percussive for such a high pitched sound but it isn’t painful or chirpy. The sound feels like it could sit alongside a bass rhythm and lead in most modern metal context and add depth and color in so many ways with ease. You wrote a beautiful part for this, really highlights the strengths of the instrument well
They have to do an electric Mandolin now. Just listen to the Steve'n'Seagulls cover of "Seek and Destroy" and listen to how incredible it is. One of the most underrated and underloved instruments ever.
I literally just did not know what to listen to and then in the recommendations I see your new video. thanks for another amazing tune! turned out great!!
Really well done, love the sound on this track. I tried playing the guitar over 20 years ago and my fingers are so rigid I could never get them to move to the right place. I tried Ukelele recently, and it was much easier.
That's the radest Ukulele solo. All of it's rad, well done. May make a crazy request? How about another song with the Ibanez Ukulele done with a capo and a slide?
It's impressive what can be done with the Ukulele in the hands of a skilled musician. Jake Shimabukuro is worth checking out for some fine Uke playing.
The best of the best "play" with their chosen endeavor. Charles Berthoud plays like you play. Danny MacAskill, Dougie Lampkin among others trials bicycles. The list is endless. Unless you ask yourself "what if" and then go for it, you'll never know. Or you'll be second . . .
An electric ukulele ?! OMFG, THAT'S SO BADASS !! Amazing riffs by the way ! (There is no "ukulele version" of a piano, no that I know. I wish I could play this one day though, thank you for the joyful momebt :) )
some decades ago, i tried using an LED shining across all 4 strings (of a ukulele) onto a photocell and going into a tape recorder i was using as an amp. it distorted the heck out of the sound.
My neighbour has three uke's one is a bass one is standard and one is tuned how a normal guitar is only the 4 top strings. So on that one i can play because it's basically a guitar just using 4 strings. She has effect pedals etc and they sound great when she does metal stuff.
BERNTH!, OMG I think you just up the ante I metal guitar!, I can just see many Metal Acts being inspired to use ukelele!. This was just euphoric! Thank for pushing the boundaries yet; once again! ... I'm running to the music store to purchase a ukelele!, I have to try this out for myself. Your dedicated fan in Arizona! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world!😃👍
There is a guy here in Flint Michigan that I went to school with. Looks somewhat like you and can play like you. He's just as good or better than Steve Vai in my understanding of the guitar. But his head can't fit into a room. He will always be a bar band or garage. He played Beethoven's fifth something on his electric guitar that his brother made him. He was 16 then. All 10 fangers. Blew away the audience at kontos back in early 90's. Now I can't imagine how good he is now.
Miss your play along tutorial videos, but I guess these kind of videos are more likely to attract more views and more income, so can't blame you really.
Sounds Spanish and Arabic and Heavy metal and exciting at the same time. There is a great story about a handsome master thief, a beautiful Arab Princess and a really bad guy who loses, all moving through that song you played. Outstanding.
😂i thought it was a guitar with the ukulele sounds, because of how long it is, but then i started reading more and realized that it’s a ukulele meant to be that long. great sounding instrument none the less. very cool sounds
I haven't ploayed my ukulele much because for gigs, people don't want it or think it will make the music sound one way. However, the ukulele is a verse flexible instrument and can cover a lot of genres. I've seen it in ever genre. It's a fantastic instrument and if you play guitar, you should absolutely invest some time in ukulele.
Listen to 'The Shrine' on Spotify and follow for more ▶ spoti.fi/3ZTHQ59
Have you tought about compiling all these short songs into one album?
Could you try DGBE baby baritone tune and shed it with 4 strings?
Hope this is what your talking about.. not sure
is it son of Layne Staley & Corey Taylor?))
Metal on an electric fiddle!
I also wish their could be an electric fiddle and electric guitar in one ❤😅😊
Let's start a metal band where everybody plays the ukulele form of their instrument 🔥
😂
I'll play the drum ukulele!
ill play the ukulele guitar
Bandulele
Neat idea
that's gotta be the most metal-looking ukelele in the world, it sounds heavenly
You should see what else Ibanez has! (They've got Iceman ukes, hehe)
Not by a longshot, but it aint bad :)
There was a dean uke
The Dean ML Uke doesn't look bad.
@@dominiccampbell7227 there's Ibanez iceman too..❤
you not only a great player, but a composer too! your melodies are amazing
And a great guitar teacher
In Brazil we have an instrument called "guitarra baiana". Maybe you know it like "electric mandolin". That's really cool, you'll like it!

He's just performing an old black sabbath song on a child's guitar.. and yet it sounds great.... Zakk is a master.💀🤘🤘🤘🎸
@@saujanyapoudel8910 there are 6....strings. duh..it's a guitar. Trust me.
@saujanyapoudel8910 I didn't realize I was commenting on the wrong video man..I'd just watched Zakk Wylde playing N.I.b on a hello kitty guitar.. my mistake. Sorry.. that's a good video btw. Peace ✌️
@@seanmccall7277 Your comments make more sense now 😂
So... 4 strings means it's a bass, right?
This has a medieval sound to it. Especially the intro
Agreed. Sounds like a Lute with distortion.
That's awesome. I would love to see you do metal riffs on a mandolin
the uke almost fits the song, it doesnt feel like you just added a uke for a joke, it sounds like its meant to be there. youre an insane musician man
The sweep picking is so freaking precise and effortless. Your right hand is like a machine. This is why human beings are a better technology than AI. This sounds like a legit metal ballad and has Nordic permafrost vibes. 🤘
That was really cool! Hope to see more metal ukelele content 😆
Love this piece Bernth !!! Wonderful, simply wonderful ! !
As an ukulele player, I am impressed, as always actually with your videos. :-)

For the next one i'd like too see you play a bass guitar
BASS UKULELE!
Never knew you have a TH-cam channel! I love listening to your songs on Spotify ❤
as a ukulelist , you are now my hero:) (i love metal but cant afford an electric guitar)
They have to do an electric Mandolin now. Just listen to the Steve'n'Seagulls cover of "Seek and Destroy" and listen to how incredible it is. One of the most underrated and underloved instruments ever.
this is legit awesomeness bernth. I love the harmonics riff. great tone in general
All those arpeggiated riffs are amazing! Wow! That sounded so good!
Amazing as always!
"Hawaiian Metal", "Hard Tropical Rock", "Metallic Tropic", "Island Metal", "Metallic Island", "Pacific Metal"? What should we calls this new genre?
Swear to god Bernth you could make an old wash tube with a broom handle and string sound awesome.
I literally just did not know what to listen to and then in the recommendations I see your new video. thanks for another amazing tune! turned out great!!
Sounds more UNREAL than INSANE to me.
This is unironically one of my favourite songs by you, it's amazing
Some quality content right here bro!
that sweep open pick intro is sick!...it's all sick bruh! 😀🤘
Your picking is absolutely insane, my friend.
Great job......sounds Heavenly. And as we all know......It's not the instrument it's the Musician who makes the music...... :)
That’s an interesting looking bass there
Really well done, love the sound on this track. I tried playing the guitar over 20 years ago and my fingers are so rigid I could never get them to move to the right place. I tried Ukelele recently, and it was much easier.
01:09 that buildup is sick
Awesome tune and performance! 😎🤘🏻🎸 that ukulele sounds and looks pretty cool.
Sarah and Rob paved the way and You are walking it with deserved praise.
will you shoot a short guide how you compose your songs some time?
Good idea
That's the most metal ukulele I've ever seen, totally insane 👍
Love the comments on the video, adds depth to it.

The Bard's Deep seated rage is never enough, expression is key to a peaceful life

I've actually tried this with my Ibanez Mandolin, I was actually surprised at how good it sounded! Cool video 👍

i want one now.

Could use one of those cheap Casio keyboards as the "ukelele"
Or maybe a melodica
That’s not only a great song and nice sounding Ike buts it’s the coolest one I’ve ever seen nice job
I don’t think I’ve ever heard the ukulele sound so menacing!
🤘🏻😈👍🏻

Wow!! This sounded awesome!! Especially you jamming with the Ibanez ukulele!! Good performance 👍😊
I don't use telegram. What do I win by the way??
nice you are super talented! anyone that can make a uke rock is a god in my book
now we only need ukelele chugs
This ulekelele has more frets than my guitar
This might be my new favorite genre of music
Daaamn! Thats dope af 🔥
I just bought a Uke a few weeks ago, and then Ibanez comes out with this...
This song was amazing! Like any song you've done that I've heard.
I was 100% sure that bernth got the tod10n
i love the guitar tone
I want to hear Serj singing to this
Omg I was thinking same about it. Serj needs to !
That sounds awesome BERNTH
i like your vids. i just recently joined a band, and your videos are inspiring for some reason.
Every time i see this guy he is a god on the guitar and alike wtf

Jake shimabukuro's song dragon is probably my favourite ukulele-metal so far, this is a close second.

Bernth can play anything with strings!!! The shredmaster!!!!😮😊
This has a bit of Keep of Kalessin vibes IMO, very nice!
You could not convince me this is a ukulele without this video. Fire

its a tenor
This Ukulele has more frets than my Guitar
Proud of you man
This music needs to be a band like so much!
Now THAT'S a uke I can get behind!
That was AWESOME.
Wow! Just wow!!
Great now there's one more piece of gear that I f****** simply must have. Definitely sounded f***** amazing.
This sounds amazing. Reminds me of Breed 77 using flamenco guitar in their tracks
YOOOOOO EARLY FOR NEW BERNTH SONG LETS GOOO
Thanks for tuning in so early 🤘

If you like the ukulele as a guitar, you should look into the "guitarra baiana". It is an instrument of the state of Bahia (Brazil).
Sherdding the uke, sounds so sick
Dam it ! 👍 They need you on the road with them now. ..
Damn! This is incredible, that's also a very long neck for a Ukulele, they generally only have like 15 frets.
Imagine two cats are fighting and this part of the song is playing for them 1:53 😂
*I love this song, sounds like a darker mid-evil vibe
Just Fkn Amazing 🤘🤘
some folk black metal would be great with that thing
Lo mejor del día 😮😮😮me he quedado asombrado vaya tela marinera jajajaja menudo artista 🎨✋
Rob Scallon did the metal uke thing a few years ago, complete with killer metallized uke. This is decent too.
wow timely, I played a uke for the first time this weekend!
Jackson better make one with a Floyd Rose and an HH Seymour Duncans config 😂
