After seeing where you have come from over the last four years to where you are now you have no need to be concerned about what other people think.
You are doing great, keep it up.

It takes an immense amount of courage to live the lifestyle you’ve chosen. Even more so when you factor in the balls it takes to expose your challenges and vulnerabilities to the whole world through social media. Nike, your life is filled with accomplishments. From my humble perspective, there’s no reason to doubt yourself. You’ve got this!

13:00 I love and respect SO MUCH that you are sharing this with us!!
    Thank you so much!
If we´re being totally honest, it is a pretty damn good sign of inner strength that you are putting this out there, where anyone, including maria, can see this.

Okay, where to begin? Your blindingly beautiful happy smile when you said Dave and Maria were coming to be with you, or your verbal command of the Spanish language (that makes at least 3 that you have used fluently on your videos) or the incredible transformation that you've made in Karl (which most people would have run away from on first sight), or the incredible insights that you've shared and shared on this video regarding fears, insecurities, frustrations, joys, or the incredible filming that you've done and shared or is it just me being in total awe of you and think that you are an amazing person who is living her dream (sharing it with the public, knowing that there are critics and complainers who couldn't do 1/2 of what you've done). Nike, keep on keeping on and do what you think is best for you and Karl.

Thanks for sharing your true thoughts and emotions. That is a hard thing to do on a public site where comments can be brutal. As a viewer it made me feel like we just had a good cup of coffee together.

Hello, George here. I too spend most time solo... I understand what you are saying here about the effect of another human in your life space. Yes, it requires so much energy to be what I, and perhaps you too, anticipate " they" would expect me, or perhaps you, to do at any given moment. I have resisted commenting, til you mentioned this. I relate to your life as you live it and I feel a kindred similarity. Forgive my interruption if you will, and know that I truly like all that you have shared here. I earned a degree in Marine Technology years ago, and have worked at sea over some very interesting years. My life is as a carpenter now, and I have worked in some very nice boat yards too. I will be following your video shared journeys and I look forward to them. Smiling, George.

Nike, I have been following you from the moment you published your first video arriving on Karl. I watched you rebuild her from a condition that most people would not have even attempted. Nike I am a professional Licensed Master with over 40 years experience on everything from Nuclear Submarines to small sailboats. You are a fantastic sailor, I would feel safe sailing with you on Karl or any other boat. Don't underestimate yourself. Maybe you should get out the rum and talk to your friend about your feelings about stress level while she is on the boat with you. Your A fine sailor in your own right . Didn't you know Nike that every captain thinks they are the best captain that ever sailed the sea. All you have to do is ask many of them. Your a great Captain and Karl loves you for giving him another go at what he was built for. And YOU DID IT !!!

with all of this you have nothing to worry about what other people think, just enjoy their company when they are there and enjoy your achievements when they are not present.

So nice to have a friend where you don't have to worry about judgement. You either know what you are doing or you don't... Having said that you should feel confidence because for the most part you do know what you are doing, and if not, you are resourceful - stand strong! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

My daughter goes through some anxiety issues as well, and as I tell her.....when you feel that someone may think you are doing something silly that you feel is completely normal, just continue to do them confidently and you'll own the situation.
When she takes this approach, it seems to work well for her.

I think everyone feels that way to some extent. No need to worry about it, you have your head screwed on right. Better than most.
And the fact that you can analyse your feelings the way you do is proof that you know what you're doing.
Also, if someone doesn't like it they may walk the plank.
Thanks for sharing another great video, love the random shots of the town and the beauty around it. (garbage not so much but what else can they do?)

This is a study in the human subconscious for everyone. Recognizing it in that level of detail is very unusual. The thing I find is that in the end, it’s great to share those moments with someone and not having someone around somehow makes it lose its luster just a bit. But....that’s just me perhaps.

I know its probably not how this worked out but I only asked about a tour only last week! kinda weird but thanks ...
My introvert side gets anxieties about having to engage with others, especially if its not so necessary, but it feels different when Im in the moment and I actually enjoy myself.
Then when theyre gone Im thinking 'my god Im glad thats over' and I can sleep on my own again
    have a good one ,,

it is quite true....the judging mind is the bane of all mankind....various forms of medittation (vipassana, for example) will let one observe this state of mind without needing action or more judgement of the judgement....anyway, no action will eventually lessen the old learned pathways and the need to do or please. A short sentence on a long topic....the fact that you even notice what you are doing and why is admirable and a good way down the road. Been a viewer since the first ...label me a satisfied watcher! (that's my judgement)

Thanks for posting. So where on the chart is this epilogue about solitude and socializing located for you and Karl? For me on Good Karma, it lately pops up between motivations and ego... probably find this map point in quite a few other spots too. Trash reminds me of the clean water program you two began. Peace.

Nike, try using CBD oil for anxiety issues. My friend started on it about a monthago and in less than a week, he realised that his anxiety and the causes behind it simply were not there. It has made a world of difference to his life. And dont worry, you can get high on it if you tried, has a way higher safety profile than say aspirin or paracetamol, which you can buy over the counter even back in Germany. At worst, you will find you're not taking enough each day and you need a little more. Available in capsules or drops (I use the capsules cos I cant stand the taste ;) ) and is possibly / probably perfectly legal in the country you're in.
Wishing you the very best as always :)

I know the feeling being watched and judged, it sucks. I am not in the same position but more and more I try to laugh about it when it happens. I worked on IJsselmeer for some weeks of 2 years and went always busy when entering a harbor, pressure of not doing something not acting lazy. Most be something Calvenism.
