Thanks for watching! Stay tuned for more!
I picked up the 4-piece set a couple of years ago just to check them out. At the time, less than $7 on Amazon. Overall, they're very decent. The fastener fit with the PH2 is outright impressive.
I just picked up a set of Tekton screwdrivers and I like them much better than my old Craftsman set. Gave away a bunch of Husky and other screwdrivers that were a waste of time to use.
Wow! I bought that set 2-3yrs ago and I don’t remember that packaging and I don’t remember them being made in USA! They sure do update their stuff quickly!
Yes, they are stepping up their game for sure. I’m impressed. How have your handles held up in chemicals like oil and gas?
TheDurbinCompound pretty good, The marking on the ends fade out pretty quickly. The grip stays pretty grippy after all that. The tri-lobe pattern it what sold me on those. I’m testing other ones now, the number two Philips started to wear out, they sure held up their time!
Hey a little tip for focusing on small objects that I've picked up from other TH-camrs is to hold your hand right behind the object you're trying to focus on. Seems to work like a charm. And thanks as always for the quality content man!
Thanks Jack! Yes I guess I do realize that everyone does use that trick! Hard to remember in the moment sometimes!
Tekton does make one hell of a good tool I'll give them that, I own a lot of Tekton tools and love love love everyone of them!
Yeah I’m using their socket set right now. I love it. Need to update my ratchet to their fine took ratchet though!
I recommend tekton before craftsman sockets, they have full sets, no skips unlike Craftsman and the warranty is better. Tekton replaces Craftsman in my opinion
No doubt! Tekton rules!
Go Navy! Navy Rules! Actually I would’ve gone Marine Core if I knew better when I joined😅 Respect!
My 20 year old Snap On screwdrivers are beginning to show their age, im seriously thinking about replacing them with these.
I've had a few sets Mac, snap on, matco. I ordered a set of tekton and don't really like them much. Granted the professional brands cost alot more, but you get what you pay for.
Im selling my Snap on screwdrivers and going to buy the tektons
Might be a cool driver set out of the package, but that isobutylene rubber will start to break down when it comes into contact with any solvents or oil based materials.
I was thinking about doing a video on how the rubber reacted to different things. Unless we get scientific, only time will tell....
It says on their site that they’re made from (TPE) Soft Thermoplastic Elastomer, resistant to cleaners, solvents, gas, oil and grease.
😎👍
I’m in love with them! Thanks for an awesome product!
@@TheDurbinCompound Thank you! The thinner shaft is for accessibility. The cabinet tip keeps the shaft diameter the same as the tip so you can slide into deep recesses. 👍
Yes! Exactly what I mentioned in the video, other manufacturers make the shaft too wide on the flat heads for accessibility! Thank you for letting us know. More Tekton stuff in the future!
Tekton... I wish I would have known about your angle wrenches being made in the USA because I definitely would've bought them instead of the Sunex angle wrenches that are made in China. I am not happy with them at all.
Isn't it pronounced "TEK-ton" instead of "TEK-TON"? I heard a rep in a video say it that way anyway. At any rate, great vid! I love my Tekton tools too!
Everyone has their way! Better question is how do you pronounce Knipex?!
things are pronounced differently in ohio 😂
@@TheDurbinCompound It's pronounced "kuh-NIP-ex", with the "kuh" said very quickly ;)

The "Best screwdriver set"? That would be a set of screwdrivers with shafts that extend all the way through the handle terminating in a steel end cap you could hit with some force, a square shaft that can be held or turned with a wrench, a hex base on the shaft for gripping & turning with a wrench, and of course, precision ground tips made of a durable metal that will hold up to whatever you try to torque with it. Better luck next time.
Sounds like you are describing a pry bar and punch, then an impact driver. Use the right tool for the job. Better luck next time...
That would be WIHA "purple" series. lol
@@1vw4me Exactly. Also the Urrea HD's- The Mexicans. If you know screwdrivers, and you know that tools like THAT exist, you would NEVER infer that the ones in this video might be "The Best" LOLOL
Tekton pronounced "tekten"
