Abandoned PNC Bank Erie, Pa. Located in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. I heard through the grapevine in the past week that this bank was demolished. I filmed it on October 1st so it's believable.
Hi Wallie, This building looks it's from the 1980 s. It probably would cost too much for a complete renovation and to keep up with on line banking it probably became obsolete. Great Job!
With that watertruck parked there they're more than likely tearing this place down. They water down the building while it's being torn down to reduce the amount of debris getting in the air

It’s been demolished since then and it’s now part of Walmart’s parking lot.
All the PNC's in my area used to be Mercantile Banks, but PNC bought them out nearly 10 years ago. Only one of them in my area has closed.

I worked at that Elm ST. Walmart for a while. Worst in Erie. I never knew what the building was.
PNC was my bank for many years. Erie is decaying. Sad.

We have many empty PNC bank buildings in Chicago. Some of ours have become another bank but not all of them.
I think Wal Mart bought the abandoned PNC property turning into Wal Mart parking lot.
