This week we travel the Oodnadatta Track, but first we start in Parachilna and drive north to Marree for a scenic flight. This flight wasn't sponsored, it is something we ave wanted to do for a long time.
Next stop, the Oodnadatta Track. It took us three days to drive from Marree to Dalhousie. The Ood was in pretty good condition, but the road to Dalhousie was a living hell. Make sure you check road conditions before doing a track.

If you are referring to the pink coloured flowers with the slightly darker pink spots at 30:02, they are Eremophila (emu bush) - common in drier, inland areas.

I did this from the desert to Dalhousie after leaving Brisbane going through Birdsville. Awesome trip 3 years ago we got held up at Dalhousie for 3 days because of the rains that shut the oodnadatta track. Disco made it easy. My tip is stick to the tracks, the ground although flooded was much harder then the side tracks and we seen a lot of vehicles bogged heading out.
Really good, loved it. Did that track 20 plus years back in an old Holden Ute. Go you youngster, have the best life and fun

Love this ep especially the Dalhouse springs. We didn't get to complete the Oodnadatta Track due to caravan issues but more excuse to do in the future. Love the double footages of Lake Erye. I love campfire scene too. The track was not so bad when we went but the side track to see the Bubbler was so bad it killed our van.

Yeah it’s just a dirt road nothing hard
😂don’t whinge about the ride in 49 year truck as it would be worst in 60 year truck and back then next to no maintenance👍. P.S don’t carry firewood in a rubbish bin😂👍.
