I'd greatly appreciate it if some Hooters fans would check out my unplugged piano & vocal version of One of Us in tribute to the songwriting of Eric Bazilian, which you can find by clicking on my channel. Thanks and please pardon the self promotion.
I got an unexpected birthday present from my partner and daughter last year. I got taken to a Hooters concert. To my amazement, they had actually improved from the wonderful band which I knew in their heyday of the eighties and early nineties. The solos were more evenly spread, they had learned new tricks of tempo and dynamics and then they played a near hour long set of brilliantly arranged and sophisticated acoustic music, including an excellent version of the folk classic, "Rambling Boys of Pleasure". Rock on lads!
It’s the best! I covered this version of Time after Time. At first, everyone was dumbfounded, but as the song progressed, everyone sang along. I played it with one guitar. It was a lot of fun.
Geil. Ich wusste nicht, dass dieser absolut unsterbliche Song von den Hooters ist. Danke ihnen. Danke, Eric Bazilian. Da hat Joan Osborne aber Glück gehabt. Sie singt schöner.
Was mir auffällt, daß dieses Lied Gott huldigt. Dann das "All your Zombies" hat was zynisches. Mir gefallen die Hooters schon sehr lange. Mein erstes Album von denen war das mit Karla with a K und Johnny B.
The Hooters are one of the Greatest Bands in the World ! I'm looking forward to see them LIVE in Ulm, Germany in 4 days !!!
Excellent band. Nice to see they haven't lost anything over the years.
Two of my all-time favorite songs... and I love that Eric sings the 2nd verse in German!!
k2k9dogs That's pretty cool.... I learned two things just now: Eric Bazilian wrote this song, and Eric Bazilian speaks German!

Fun fact - Eric who sings the second verse in German, went to Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia.

I have a little bit too much temperament sometimes. I'm Sorry, but killing Morten Harket is going to far.
He didn't wait...
Great music this is, but I can not accept the concept of an almighty God. Many can not where I am from.

Man, fetzt das ---- 10x besser als von Cindy Lauper --- HOOTERS alive :-))))

Stammt ja aus seiner Feder.
DAS
I hear him singing Yah Yah Yah. Either he knows His name (since Eric is Jewish) or its his attempt at German Yeah. Peace...
How to ruin a great song - Time After Time. I hope Cyndi Lauper never heard this.
Rob helped write it with Cyndi Lauper...need not worry about that
They wrote them. Got to give them props.
You don't know what you're talking about.
This one's far better. Not necessarily this live performance but the Hooter's album recording of it is perfect.
Dennis check out. The Hooters. time after time live. In philly 85/86. And you will have a different opinion?
