  • In 2024 I have set my mind to getting into the best shape of my life ready to compete at the European Middle Distance Champs, Outlaw Half Holkham and Ironman Tallinn, Estonia triathlon. My first race is the middle distance champs in Coimbra, Portugal at the end of June so I have 6 months to see how fit I can get. I will be documenting the journey through weekly videos highlighting the ups, downs and everything along the way.

    Get a HR strap bro for sure. Made a massive difference and was a lot more consistent that my wrist watch HR

    True HR meaning that you could possibly go up to a 5 min per mile otherwise your not really pushing the limit. Also be careful maxin out your hr even young people can be hurt when maximum effort. You could try drinking coffee and see how much your hr shifts. My personal max when i was younger i would max it at a 5:30-5:01 per mile.
