I once read that Vitamin C in that form instantly oxidate and do 0 to your skin... literally most Vitamin C serums are scam

Probably bc fruit essential oils aren't a reliable source of l-absorbic acid. There aren't even stable forms of vitamin C in this product. So yeah it's a scam. Real vitamin C serums would never come in a clear bottle. The only ingredient in here that could potentially fade hyperpigmentation is arbutin. It's not a bad serum just not a vitamin c. ❤

I didn't have good skin in my 20s, not even before that due to dairy and not knowing it was the main reason. Whomever we see online with seemingly good skin is a minority. Especially when filters exist.

This is in a clear bottle - isn’t vitamin c (asorbic acid) very sensitive to light? From my knowledge it could go bad quickly if it’s exposed to light and in a clear bottle. Most vitamin c serums I see are in completely covered packagings. Someone chime in? 😊

Maybe it comes in a box. I keep all my skin products in original boxes.
actually this is incorrect, not all vitamin c serums are weak to sunlight, rather, some may be weak to sunlight due to their pH and formulation that causes it to degrade after being exposed to sunlight. I also have a vitamin c serum that has about 10% vitamin i think but it comes in a completely clear bottle, the brand started with jisoo something.
@ellemfae; The vitamin C is from Green Tangerines which is a 'stable' form of Vit C. Meaning it is NOT light sensitive.
However Green Tangerine Vit C is not as powerful as Ascorbic Acid (a synthetic form that is used in cosmetics & skin care).
Missha vit C serum and firming is so underrated
She influenced me to buy the Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil being the “Korea’s No.1 cleansing oil”. Unfortunately, it broke me out so bad and I don’t think the Anua is better than the SoftyMo Speedy cleansing oil I have been using for so long. Even the TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner she mentioned about broke me out too. I’ll stick to the I’m From Rice line instead. Anyway, one brand doesn’t work for all. I have learned my lesson to just stick to the products which are already working for me and not to get swayed easily by this “viral trends”.
i'm curious about how you were using the anua cleanser, so if you don't mind, were you washing it off with regular face wash afterwards? i just bought it myself because i felt a regular cleanser wasn't removing my sunscreen sufficiently.
I used it. Overrated. I'd go with Cosrx Snail Mucin power essence. That slap. Hard.

Do not follow blindly. The high concentration of vitamin c in the product may cause skin irritation to some people.

Instead of wasting money on buying products that don’t work for you, or wasting time on researching other products, I recommend going to a dermatologist (assuming you don’t live in the States). They would prescribe you products tailored for your skin’s needs. Do tell them your budget, so that they give you the best one without it being heavy on your pocket.

I am using this product currently and ohhh my god...I never expected vitamin c to suit my skin. It's actually too good a product. I have a super sensitive oily acne prone skin and have used vit c from other skincare brands from India. Bt trust me...as soon I started using korean skincare brand in my routine..it was a fucking game changer for my skin...especially this vit c suited my skin soooo well due to its gel like texture. I jst love it and it also showed visible results within 2 weeks of application. Love love love for this product ❤️❤️❤️

I heard wonders of Korean skin products. I’m in my fifties and my skin has gone through some changes. As a teen I had great skin, in my late twenties I got acne . Got better in my late thirties. Now in my fifties I still break out every so often, have black heads and acne old scars and on top of that I have developed eczema en certain areas. At this point don’t know what is best. But I would love to try Korean skin products just don’t know which brands are good and not costly.

First vitamin c serum I used. Definitely brightens your skin. But my skin got too use to it that I had to stop using.

Why do companies always put a bunch of harsh essential oils in their vit c serums and creams? Just because the serum and cream has vit c doesn’t mean it has to smell like oranges, lemon or another citrus and the essential oils lead to irritation and can cause allergies after many uses even if you didn’t have an allergy to it to begin with. It’s annoying and unnecessary. Indeed the mistake of buying some expensive vit c creams, some Korean and others like ole henriksen and couldn’t even use them because gave tiny red bumps and tons of irritation yet I can use good vit c serums with high amounts of vit c fine because my skin isn’t even sensitive. A good vit c serum should have an airtight container that is not clear because vit c is useless if exposed to air or light. It should have ferulic acid and vit e in it because it increases absorption and shelf life. This is not it! I do love a lot of k beauty products but this one is a no go.
