I say "shit!" hehehe purely visceral reaction to initial question on doggy doo doo
Mama Sed is the best Puscifer song. They never play it the same way twice!!!
I used to spend every Sunday for over a year with a good friend who was passing from cancer at 33. This was one of the songs on his playlist. I can’t listen to this song without crying, it’s a beautiful song.
I'm sorry. My life long best friend is dying of cancer now at 52. I'm so sorry.
TILL ALL ARE ONE
This is not hyperbole...When they played this in Akron in '16 there wasn't a dry eye in the theater. A whole room full of black shirts & metal heads with tears streaming down their faces...one of the most powerful moments I've ever witnessed at a concert.
I think this song was in season 1 of Yellowstone.
I can imagine that. It's just a hard hitting song spiritually for me and the lyrics are amazing.
@@jack-of-all-trades1234 It was and everything that was happening while it played made the scene so insane.
Wow... that's all I can say.
By definition, that is hyperbole. But yes, it's a nice song.
Such a beautiful and haunting song that makes me emotional. Glad you loved it.
Listen to momma sed live version omg I love this rendition I who have lost my mother 20 yrs ago this song was a gift to my heart
❤I've been waiting for this one❤
THE HANDS OF THE MANY MUST JOIN AS ONE, TOGETHER WE'L CROSS THE RIVER✌💕
It's a message we should all take to heart.
This is my number one favorite song from them.
Maynard is a poetic SOB and I mean that in the best way possible. His words and the instruments used in perfect harmony is something truly amazing/special. This song spoke to me in spiritual way not to sound cheesy.. Anyways it's great to see your reaction to it and hearing your thoughts about it. Hope/pray that all is well with you and your family everyone here. 🙏🙏🍻
You have to listen to the whole concert of Puscifer alive at Club Nokia it is the best Puscifer you will ever hear
Our huskies sleep in our bedroom. Their hearing is so fine (like most dogs) that they hear everything throughout the house. I have stepped in warm dog vomit before, and it is so awful. It's been ages, but I can still recall the physical feeling.
Polo, I'm sorry to hear that the move has been stressing you. Moving sucks! I hope that everything goes smoothly, and you get yourself and doggo settled in soon. Another great Puscifer song: Horizons, Man Overboard, Oceans, or Tiny Monsters. Take good care!
Well chosen sir. Takes alot more than rage and muscle.
Cheers.
Also, when it comes to Puscifer, don't sleep on the remixes! I know a lot of reactors want to hear the original versions first, but many of their remixes are better than the originals, and some of them give you a better idea of MJK's sense of humor. I recommend 'The Mission-M is for Milla Mix', 'Sour Grapes-Legends of the Mix', 'Rev 22:20-Don't Shoot the Messenger Version', 'Drunk with Power-Hungover and Hostile in Hangover Mix', 'Sour Grapes-Where's the Line? Mix', 'Cuntry Boner-Disco Viagra Mix' and 'Balls to the Wall-Pillow Fight Mix'.
Cuntry Boner and World Up My Ass are must listens for Puscifer
Counting bodies like sheep to the Rythm of the war drums- a Perfect circle. you will not be disapointed, very unique.
For sure, Pet is good, but Counting Bodies Like Sheep took it to whole different feel.
Polo should just do an entire album of tool chronologically, or throw some back to back songs. That way you get to feel its entirety. Just saying ❤still grateful to whichever you take the time to make
Great song.... deep...we all have a river to cross.
Wow! Polo man, that was awesome, so subtle yet powerful! Welcome to the Church of MJK! The Holy Trinity of Tool, APC, and Puscifer! You’re “I’ve been baptized “ comment reminded me that to a lot of us , music is our religion!
Hey man. Check out Puscifer's Rev 22:20 Ren holder mix. It's the song in Underworld. Great song.
i love me some Pusifer! i really do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great reaction! Would love to see you do APC’s Gravity. I think it’s another one you would love.
Thank you for hearing this one. I suspect yours was one of the channels I suggested this upon.
Back when COVID was starting to spread, I was hospitalized for some emergency surgery. Was pretty rough as the COVID patients started pouring in. After a week I went home, and the very first song that played from my music app was a Puscifer song called apocalyptical. Creeped me right out. GIve it a whirl
I really would like you to get to A Perfect Circle, Passive. The song has a personal joy for myself, as it worked its way into my mind -- creating an entire novel. But I would like to hear what you get out of it.
Conditions of my Parole and Potions are awesome songs, too.
Great video. Thank you for your content.
I instantly connected to this song. Humans can only progress if we realize that we are part of this earth and embrace the gift of being alive here and now together.
I used to live with a woman that fosters dogs. If I step in shit or piss or vomit then to me it's like "wash it off and move on, the dog didn't mean to inconvenience me." Like, damn I wish I let the dog outside in time.
As far as the poop thing goes, its happened a few times but the best way to describe the feeling is like an all lowercase "fff u c k"
I'm usually barefoot in my own home, but if i were wearing socks, that switches to all upper-case with an exclamation point at the end.
Owning a child and poop in your mouth is even more common, but the above is written assuming no kids.
You can tell right away the quality difference between this and anything off Existential Reckoning (their worst LP). Great harmonies and writing.
I don’t seem to see anyone suggesting Polar Bear by Puscifer. It’s the first song I ever heard by Puscifer after being a long, long time fan of Tool & APC and I instantly fell in love. It might not be their best, but it’s def fire and well worth your time. ❤
I don't see You @POLO REACTS reacting to PUSCIFER - TELLING GHOSTS It's the jam, it's 100% It makes Me feel like in New Orleans late at night, near the river. It's maybe my jam for Puscifer
good one
1st listen here and loved it! 🎉
This song and Momma Sed are always battling for #1 for me. Then I hear a different Puscifer song........
Grand Canyon is one you should listen too. Especially if you dug this.
This was my song I used to meditate to 🧘♂️
Green Valley is one of my faves.
Puscifer - Conditions of my Parole
Dogs get very stressed when moved, they have to get used to a new environment without knowing why. They way they react is usually through a bodily release as you experienced. It will get better as your dog gets used to your new place :)
As soon as I first heard this song, my imagination lit up with images of an event from Bionicle's lore, the Core War, even though it was never used from that particular franchise. Scenes of giant battles, sieges of fortresses, Glatorian and Agori slaughtering each other by the hundreds. It's basically an entire mental 'music video', and goddamn... does it make me pine for a big-budget Bionicle anime...
Money Shot (I know, the names....) is one of the best albums I've ever listened to. Just pick a song off of it, and it's great.
It's not what goes through your head ,it's what goes through your toes. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Be you, they'll adjust. Flip it for your dog. New place, they will adjust. Dogs are the best. Be Humble :)
U were right too. The melody alone is fire. Forget the lyrics (which take it iver the top) and the drums.
I haven't looked at every song you've done but try passenger with Maynard in the singer from Deftones
Tool is his best
Have you heard Momma Said also by Puscifer?
Anything from conditions of my parole album
I'm sure your dog is just thrown off from the move etc. I've stepped in all types of stuff. Just remember for all the few times that happens that there are many more days where they show you love and companionship. Just deal with it. It's natural to get mad.
Grand Canyon.
Show us some of your faves!
Dude, I promise we were cut from. The same cloth, this is one of my favorites. Another good one is
PUSCIFER : Vagina Mine
Preferably live, just sounds better.
Also a Tool song you haven't heard
TOOL : Maynards Dick
( yes, it's a real song)
Keep kicking ass Polo
If you like this try puscifer Grand canyon
Conditions for my parole
Loving your videos! I'm a new fan, if you like this song by Puscifer, please react to their song, Grand Canyon. Also, a different Tool song you may like is, Right in Two. I'd love to see you react to both
I feel like this should be an opening song on a Game of throwns or vikings show or movie.
Just don't have much use for Pucifer 🤷
You still have some solid options for Puscifer! I'd love to hear Potions, the Mission (M for Mila mix) or Grand Canyon if you haven't done those yet 😊
Fun fact:
This song was used in the intro for the game Transformers: Fall of Cybertron……
It plays so perfectly to the video I thought it was an original until I heard it from Puscifer much later
SAME BRO!!! I Remember Way Back I would Just Sit Idle in the Menu just to see the Video over and over again for the song 😭😭😭 I Was Mind Blown finding it on TH-cam
@@LieutenantTryhard yo saaaaaaame
This trailer might still be downloaded on my 360's HDD
I'm glad you finally did this song, it's very good. Try Conditions of my Parole next, but it has to be the video, not live.
This is Maynard’s Kumbaya moment, lol. And I love it. I remember waiting for a new Tool album after Aenima and thinking, “this guy can really sing and possibly has some softer shit in the works”. Next thing you know APC comes out cause he’s bored of waiting on the Tool geniuses. I felt kinda validated back then. Then the next year they proceeded to melt everyone’s face off with Lateralus. Maynard makes me want to go to work on my day off just so I don’t look lazy✌️
Puscifer have some amazing songs for you to listen to Polo. They do 3 different versions of one of their songs - Momma Sed. All epic!
I love that! somebody give him the links of the three versions ....there's another reactor that did all three versions in one video.
Crazy sick to see the progression of one song, kind of like what tool did with push it
Nothing beats live at Nokia... 💯🔥💕☺
I am tied for my fav.,.. between the "what is" DVD version and the Parole Violator, version
The Nagual Del Judith remix or the V is for Versatile version are just as good. Puscifer has multiple versions of literally every song.
I suggest the songs Galileo, Tiny Monsters, Life of Brian (Apparently You Haven’t Seen), Autumn, Undertaker and Undertaker V is for Versatile version. Many more but I’ll stop there.
My favorite Puscifer song ❤ I agree with that idea of "simple & powerful" simultaneously. It still gives me chills.
Jesus’s message was simple❤️
Maynard and Carina are the perfect duo!
It's totally normal for your dog doing that. She,right? Is just as stressed as you are moving to a new place. They also pick up on our emotions. Don't scold, but show empathy and say you're okay, then take her outside. Once she realizes you're understanding her, it will change, I promise you. I rescue dogs from horrific situations, and what has always helped is letting them know, "It's okay." 5 years ago, I adopted a Staffy Pity , she only weighed 96 pounds and so traumatized! Her weight now is 110. She still stays wherever I am (anxiety), but other than that, she still doesn't let me trim her nails. She has never used the bathroom in the house, but once . It was the first week with me, and it was around 3 a.m. she woke me up whimpering. When I turned the lights on, she was shaking and cowardly, so I sat down beside her and told her it was okay on repeat until she came over to me and laid her head on my lap. Then I said, "Let's go "out, " emphasizing out. It's never happened again. She's laying beside me now. You got this Polo. If it upsets you try and calm yourself before talking with your dog 🐕. Let me know if she's okay now. Respect
Try with pheromone plug in, lot of people having good results
This is by far my favorite Puscifer song. I'm glad you finally got to this gem!
Possibly the most famous track off of the seventh project by Maynard James Keenan’s creative playground Puscifer, “The Humbling River” is a ballad that laments failure, portraying the tumultuous road to stardom as a battle. The track’s narrator depicts his own journey, telling us of all of the difficult things he’s accomplished, yet fallen short of at the last moment-all in the first two verses.
Nature, nurture heaven and home
Sum of all, and by them, driven
To conquer every mountain shown
But I've never crossed the river
Braved the forests, braved the stone
Braved the icy winds and fire
Braved and beat them on my own
Yet I'm helpless by the river
Angel, angel, what have I done?
I've faced the quakes, the wind, the fire
I've conquered country, crown, and throne
Why can't I cross this river?
Angel, angel, what have I done?
I've faced the quakes, the wind, the fire
I've conquered country, crown, and throne
Why can't I cross this river?
Pay no mind to the battles you've won
It'll take a lot more than rage and muscle
Open your heart and hands, my son
Or you'll never make it over the river
It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river
It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river
Nature, nurture heaven and home
It'll take a lot more than words and guns
Sum of all, and by them, driven
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
To conquer every mountain shown
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river
Braved the forests, braved the stone
It'll take a lot more than words and guns
Braved the icy winds and fire
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
Braved and beat them on my own
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river
And together we'll cross the river
And together we'll cross the river
Nature, nurture heaven and home
And together we'll cross the river
And together we'll cross the river
Nature, nurture heaven and home
And together we'll cross the river
And together we'll cross the river
U gotta do the Perfect Circle records now man. 1st 2 are all time
When I reacted to this song I was blown away!
I'm glad you enjoyed the song. Yes it sounds tribal . Great word
I’ve been listening to them since they started and well they are wonderful. Tool was the first band I listened to and then a perfect circle, then puscifer. Maynard is just truly a genius. I mean I have no words on how to describe him. He’s just amazing as is everyone in these bands creating music with him. They are even great in concert. If you can go see any one of these bands with Maynard.
It's not just a concert, it's a true experience. But you really need to be on the floor!! It's life changing!
This song is so soothing.
Puscifer is absolutely fantastic. Don't sleep on them.
I hope I can be a winemaker for Caduceus Cellars one day.
Edit; listen to Momma Sed, please.
Check out Green Valley, Horizons and/or Tumbleweed by Puscifer if you havnt already. Those and Humbling River are my favs.
I wonder if Maynard is coming to terms with his mother’s faith. He’s conquered everything else.
Ok at the beginning you asked about stepping on dodo! First thing in my mind ohhh sh.. But I have one that might even be more gross, when I grew up we had a pond. Tons and tons of Bull frogs and Bugs. I had to let the dogs out one last time. I stepped out the door, and stepped right on a Bullfrog and it screamed and split open under my foot. Yes I was barefoot! Then I thought, ohh no unalived him, yuck I'm going to puke! All I say, your was really gross lol but so was mine lol.
Potions, Grand Canyon, smoke in mirrors, dear brother. All great tracks. Definitely do potions though; its your style of jam.
I see all these react channels listening to Maynard. Can we just agree that Maynard makes great music that anyone can appreciate
Feel like im watching vikings with a soundtrack. And i know the song. Well done
Opiate 2 from Tool is a must which you haven't heard yet Polo
Maynards son Devo sings on the track too. He's the 3rd voice.
You did the studio Momma Sed, live version much better.
Puscifer - Grand Canyon would be a great next reaction to them!
I'd highly recommend listening to "Polar Bear", has another chill vibe
Excellent song. More Puscifer! Some amazing choices: Queen B, Indigo Children, Vagina Mine, The Mission, Green Valley

Best comment so far in my book. Rock on homie!
Polo, there is some brilliant irony in what you 'went through' before listening to The Humbling River. Love your stuff, Man!
definitely my FAVORITE Puscifer song. You should listen to their song "Potions" next!
LOVE that song! Keenan and Reznor collaboration.
Which song was it where they said “hoooome, so far away, come on home”
Sour Grapes
Nice one fella!
Definitely check out Puscifer’s live studio albums that were released not too long ago. Parole Violator and V is for Versatile. Any of the songs are so good!
If you haven’t yet, give “The Arsonist” video a watch and listen! Fitting and accurate for today’s Political environment!
Love puscifer! Sorry about the rug bro! 😭🙏
Listen go Galileo
Probably one of my favs from them.
🔥
You Still haven't listened to Tools opiate 2 yet.
Unless I'm mistaken
Sounds American Indian to me. Good stuff. Try Tomahawk - Sundance
Held my daddy's hand as he died, he told me to not cry, he'd meet by the river. This song will always mean a lot to me.
oh ive stepped in my cats throw up so many times
Same 😂
This song IS the Gospel
Pretty cool song, takes me back to HS, when my mind was opened to new music, as I met people from around the country and around the world and we all learned to find our common humanity.
Puscifer- Green Valley, momma sed , man overboard, live at club nokia concert, conditions of my parole, the remedy,.......
I love you, man. I've said it before. I'll say it again later, no doubt. You're one superb fucking human being. Watching these things with you makes me feel wonderful. Not trying to be weird. Just saying. Thank you.
