OH, do I EVER KNOW THAT!!! My now ex-husband had an affair and destroyed our marriage after almost 17 yrs (23 yrs COMBINED). It took 2 yrs for our divorce to become finalized, and during that time, he continued his relationship with the mistress and eventually married her within 18 months of our divorce being finalized. We had been together since we were 17 & 18 yrs old....and all of a sudden, he has a midlife crisis and decides to have an affair & ultimately MARRIES the said mistress in less than 2 years of being divorced from ME. He didn't have to spend a SINGLE DAY ALONE with his THOUGHTS or ANYTHING!!!! How on Earth could he have possibly thought that jumping directly into ANOTHER RELATIONSHIP with SOMEONE ELSE after having been married to ME for almost 2 decades have EVER seemed like a GOOD IDEA to him.....I guess I'll NEVER KNOW.

Sometimes we have to stay with the horrible husband. My daughter needed facial surgery over a ten yr period and he’d stripped me of my income . I had to stay to enable her medical bills to be paid.
