Thank you very much for this clear and concise video, I too had been experiencing this issue and having to bring it in to get cleared year after year but no more now. 5 minute job, took me longer to straighten out a hanger for the job, thanks a million!!

@@81loulou Spring is probably a good time, am guessing it gets clogged over the colder seasons.

Thank you sir! Other videos don't show how to pull the light bulb nor how to get to the leak. Great job!

Thanks for the video!!! This is the first video to show the actual location of this tube. This started leaking after we had the sun roof replaced (that should have been a recall) these little things just infuriate me about my ride. Save me some cash thanks again!

Drain the bulkhead as its full of water - which is where the a/c also drains into.
I made an easy 2 minute video on a simple free fix that will cure electrical/water related issues. See my Porsche Tech playlist.

My air conditioning stinks to high heaven. I saw another video that shows working under the car and cleaning the plug out. Did you have to do that also? The video showed a horribly clogged air conditioning drain plug. I'm assuming that's what mine is.

The two drain holes under the car are for windshield you have to unscrew 4 crews with T20 bit and 1 screw under the car with T30 bit. when you do the clean up, fee some some water from windshield to wash out some residuals... I cleaned up last year and did one this year again even though I don't not really part the car under tree during full..... This video shows the hole and only one hole for AC:
When i got my AC leaked to inside of both left and right and based on this video, I just used a long wood stick, 2-3 feet to push and pull the rubber cap of the fixture to get water drained. Don't know why the water was not got drained naturally from that hole rubber fixture as when I pushed or pulled the rubber cap, I did not see any debris come out rather the water... this could be due to bad design. This rubber drain fixture is hard to reach; otherwise, I think I'd cut the cap to get water free drain...

Having exactly this same problem year after year. BUNCH of others post same videos. Dealership asking $1,400 just to clean it! A joke!!! I wonder how come nobody has made a class-action against this problem?! Clearly a manufacturer's defect. No other car I owed had this problem (I had 17 cars in the past). If anyone knows of any ongoing class-action, ping me - I will gladly join.
