Thanks for taking the time to make this video it helped me fix the problem. There’s a pretty heavy duty metal clamp on the rubber hose and a pair of small long nose pliers enabled me to loosen it and slip the hose off. Reverse to re-attach.
Yes I do too water came out and it was cold most of the time but one day I was driving with sandals on I made a right turn and the water come out scolding hot on the side where the gas and brake pedals are needless to say my right foot got burned.
I had to drain my drivers side plug. You have to take the driver's side wheel off, take off some bolts to take off half of the inside cover. You then find the drain plug. A lot of water came out of mine. Then I clean inside (it was a lot of dirt clogging it, not allowing for water to drain). You can videos of how to do it. Hope this helps.

Thanks I will give the pliers a try. None of the videos here show that clamp which so far seems like the hardest part of the job.
Argh, I cannot get that clamp off with my needle nose pliers. 🤬 Maybe I need to buy some hose clamp pliers.
I hope there will be a class action leading to recall for this problem. So MANY people have this problem! Clearly an Audi's fault.

Dealer just quoted me $800-$900 to fix this problem. I think I’ll just follow your video. Thanks for posting.
What size nylon tube you use please
This worked perfectly on the passenger side, but I am still getting water overflow in the driver side when the AC is running. Any suggestions?
Didn’t happen to me after I unclogged the drain pipe, u might need to take the center console out to take a look inside
