Since it arrived on scene for the 2020 model year, the CX-30 has been the best value and most fun to drive in its class. Can't wait for the redesign in 2026 (Please Mazda, no refresh!)
I like that Mazda doesn't overdue anything. Very sleek looking. It looks more expensive than it is without being cheesy. My only complaints about this model would be your screen being so far away and pretty limited trunk space. It's still a wicked ride, though. This in a station wagon would be unreal!
CX5 is a better buy with more room, same powertrain, and made in Japan. In 2023 I originally went looking for a CX-30, but after sitting in one I knew it was too small as our family car. Bought a CX-5. For a second car I chose the Mazda 3 HBPP for my work car simply over the CX-30 due to the available incentives. 28k is a good buy for what you get.
in this application in a compact SUV like the CX-30 a 4 cylinder is fine as a base engine but not as an only choice kind of like before Toyota decided to go hybrid only and cancelled their 215 CI or 3.5 L V6 that wasn't only in the Camry but the Avalon the Sequioa the Tundra the Venza and the first three model years of the new Crown and for 2025 you get a mid cycle refresh. oddly enough that's the same size as Buick's first V8 engine and was later a V6 that was later sold to Honda/Rover and produced until 2006 and obviously there were larger displacement engines 2.7 L 3.0 L etc.
I currently have a 2020’ Mazda 3 Premium sedan which I absolutely love. The only thing stopping me from getting a new CX30 is the fact Mazda changed virtually nothing since its introduction. I was hoping for some front and rear fascia changes and some interior changes by now.
It’s built in Mexico but our 2022 3 sedan also was & has been trouble free for 20k miles. The cylinder deactivation is a disappointment but at least there’s no awful annoying stop/start which is 100 times worse.. Still the best compact SUV to get…
Not really , only low iq people don’t understand 😂 , i didnt know shifting a knob in one direction to go to car apply could be so hard for you people 😂
Made in Mexico… no thanks. I’d buy the cx-5…a bit more but made in Japan. But now Mazda is doing that stupid cylinder deactivation thing again…nope. And that far away screen.
The screen is too small I don't care if it's made in Mexico or made in Japan. I upgrade every 5yrs. I would buy a tucson over this same price but bigger, more features.
@@AlexAlex-gs1xh I am there to drive now too look at the stupid screen, also the glare from a big screen will tire your eyes and make ghost on the road after a while of driving
@@rm9sbg93zxjzgsounds like you never put on a cover that goes on top of it to stop the glare lol and nothing wrong with the cylinder stuff , the cars still last longer than any American brand 😂
@@AlexAlex-gs1xhplease go get that piece of junk , don’t complain when it shows it’s true colors of being junk 😂 and the screen just fine , don’t know how often you’re staring at it lol
Bro you must be tripping you don't need a v6 engine every time you will get terrible fuel economy. 4 cylinder is good enough and 180 to 185hp is good for daily travel you don't need 200 hp plus.
191 HP is more than enough for the size of this vehicle, alot better than Honda’s HRv which only has 158 HP and Buick’s envista tiny little 1.2 L turbo which is even less HP than the Honda
Mazda really needs to minimize the plastic cladding around the wheels or paint them like they do on the CX-5 ! Overall still a good looking vehicle 🔥!

I would like a larger display screen.
@kenfrank2730 ya, I'm sure that all comes down to personal preference. I think some cars these days the screens are far too large for my taste!

Im a single person, no kids. It’d be fine for me
Mazda put the cool front grill. Mazda built a awesome family car love. I like Mazda vehicles they do good job built them

why are subaru and mazda far away for comparison in your opinion? also what trim is this model?
This just caught me eye. Please convince me why I should buy this over a Camry or Model 3 if you're trying to sell ☺️
Regular or supertest gas needed for this?
All i want is a naturally aspirated engine with a regular 6 spd not a cvt.

I feel like the infotainment screen is too far back and embedded in the dash
I agree. And a little larger screen would be better.
How about comparing to other mainstream sub compacts? I.e. Nissan Kicks, Toyota Civic Crossover, Honda HR-V
Yes, they got to start making some changes on the outside otherwise they all look exactly the same
If they make this a hybrid I’m definitely getting one
2025 Mazda CX-30 2.5L SKYACTIV-G 4-Cylinder 8-Speed Automatic AWD Select Sport 4X4!
Mazda is far Superior to those others mentioned. If you are in the market and drive one you'll understand
Godamn Mazda started making all their cars AWD. I don't want or need it! Now I have to buy an older one to get FWD only!
Cheap? In Costa Rica the highest trim cost $45.000 US 😥
That infotainment system is silliness. 😂😂

It’s not , only low iq people don’t understand it lol , it’s only shifting a knob to the right when you have car play on 😂
Looks like someone smashed a Nintendo Switch on the dash!
@magnoliap5824 all of mazdas infortainment system are silly they don't know how to design it.

It’s because of a supplier

Why not?
it's a 2.5l with 191 hp, more than enough for a car this size
