    Speaking of Finn, I remember hearing him talk about Fred Durst with the red hat as an example of this in one of his videos. Very true and valuable advice. One of the reasons I got the neon green hair haha. Just confirmation I need to go harder on this aspect of branding. Thanks for another awesome video 🙏🙌

    I recently decided to plan, shoot, and string together several tik toks that all collectively tell a larger story broken into little skits that progress through that story but could stand alone. Had an artist draw up a very colorful, identifyable piece of art that relates to the mood of the music to bookend the beginning and end of each video as my "prop." I'm pretty stoked to see some validation here that this inclination towards "continuity" is being endorsed.

    Well Jesse Cannon, sidestepping to the field where we have ppl in the front lines as in ppl in unifrom... well i keep working w/ genuine 1to1 interactions (at times slipping QR codes to our live events) on to build connections as in some brothers that are officers (& you know how sometimes todays officers are sometimes tomorrows sheriffs?) & simply "take care etc doesn't do shit bout the pain or to build one another. Well i thought id pass this along to you: 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. - 1 Thessalonians 5:11 - ye ye ye

    10 minutes of pure gold! One question: I tend to use a black background, which tends to make the guitar and/or the t-shirt I'm wearing pop more. Does that count, or should I go for a "busier" background?

    • @Musformation
      @Musformation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think if you can find more signatures great but constancy is what’s most important.

    • @LuisFerrazMusic
      @LuisFerrazMusic 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Musformation I tend to do that on myself mostly, with coloured lenses and "evil looking" makeup, besides the other stuff mentioned... But I'll see what I can add to this equation. Thanks!

    Any thoughts on busyness of the background competing with the upfront content? I'm thinking there's an instinctive amount of randomness that works, like a Jackson Pollack. I got it consistent...but it seems too flat/boring now and I want to mess it up a bit.

    • @Musformation
      @Musformation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah obviously it can be too much but even a lot that’s identifiable can work

    Amazing video as usual. I had a question - I know you recommend making all 8 songs for a set of releases, and then making the videos and CSP for it. Can you start releasing singles, And be writing NEW music at the same time? Should I have all your singles made in advance, or start with the singles I have now, and be writing new songs to release on the same run of singles? Thanks again!
