One question… As I posted a few stuff using my new single but I’m short of new content with a brand new account on tik tok (lol usual problem) I don’t know If I should stop, do all my stuff in advance now and decide a day to restart posting everyday (to reinforce the ear-warm in the algo) or create and post once my every piece of content is ready maybe every 2-3 days… I don’t really understand if as a new artist with no audience at all it’s still really important to post daily repeatedly or every 2-3 days it’s fine producing in the end the same amount of content. So, now that TikTok has changed it so that you have to get 1000 followers BEFORE you can have your link in bio displayed on your profile - what’s the strategy in promoting your music? Or is there a video discussing this that I’ve missed? Thanks

I feel like the TikTok algorithm has changed recently with them pushing longer story content and TikTok shop? I’ve really tried to keep posting, but my new followers per week have dropped from like 90+ a week to 20 a week. Any advice for what’s going on now?
I'll give it a shot! Thanks! I did add a shop to my account for my merch. Those shop linked videos get 2-4 times the amount of views but go mostly to strangers who are (understandably) disinterested in my merch.@@Musformation
wait a minute bro, isn't the finesse today to promote things without them feeling like or coming across as ads? so wouldn't ending your video with "go stream" or "link in bio" or "available now" be the exact opposite of that?

I checked, you can't leave link in tik tok bio, unless you get 1000 subs
You have to make a business account and I don't think then you can use trending sounds so I would wait until 1000 subs
