There should be NO parole for murders and abducters.
Or rapists
Amen to both of the fist comments.
Agreed!
Or pedophiles!!! Any monster that rapes and murders an innocent child, should automatically get life WITHOUT parole, or death. I'm just SO appalled, and disgusted that this monster was parolled, I'm so sorry for her bereaved parents. R.I.P. Averie, beautiful angel. 😢😢😢❤❤❤
AGREE!!! The victim is sentenced to a life term (or dead entirely) but the criminal gets to walk free. It's maddening how these monsters are allowed more rights than the victims.
No body no parole. They should never get out. Get rid of the Good Time law for those that have done any crime against children, murder and sexual assault.
No justice has been served in this case yet again a child killer is being protected by a corrupt system its sickening
The killer was convicted.
It’s too bad that someone housed with Averie’s killer hadn’t “granted” the monster with an early release either. That would have solved the law surrounding the percentage of time served v the sentencing. My thoughts go out to everyone that loved and cared for Averie. ❤. RIP Averie Evans 🪽🪽
@eadweard. You and I both know that Averie's killer will never be truly brought to justice because the State of Louisiana refuses to execute him.
I'm not sure it's considered corrupt when we vote on and support said laws. If it were up to me, I would not allow child predators to ever be in public again as they do not change.
This child killer will be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life expecting that one of Averie's relatives will put a bullet into his head when no one is looking.
My God that is HORRENDOUS that he got out
What kind of 'self improvement programmes' are they running in prisons? A child killer shows no remorse nor gives any details of where remains may be found, but still gets an A grade?
The law was instituted for adequate prison space for those that pose a public safety threat. I don’t understand how this man is not a threat to society. It comes down to overcrowding of prisons here in the US.
Ya Think
@@Aiel-NecromancerHe has ZERO redeeming qualities and needs to be 'handled.'
@@TightyWhiteyTrashExactly
Why are people like this man released to harm another child? You can't fix a sicko like him 🤬
People convicted of murder should never get parole or get out early. Such a sad story.
Unless they have shown where the body is first! That should be a condition of any parole dealing with a missing body!!
Then maybe!
Idiotic statement. Each criminal is different and to make such a simplified generalizing statements makes you sound like a bratty child.
If a criminal is truly remorseful, has done their time, and is not judged a danger to the public, they have a right to go free, no matter the crime. What you want is revenge, not justice.
Shocking how little value society places on human life.
Quite surprised there hasn't been some vigilante justice administered. Averie, you deserved a full life, and it's a travesty you didn't get that opportunity.
Hopefully, somebody will 'handle' this beast...
Killing someone like this while they are in the act of harming a child is legal, yet somehow ending their perverse life post murder is not. Very weird to me. This dude should not be walking free. If it were my child...
Child killers should never be let out of prison but OK.
All such trash deserves a double orchiectomy, followed by a penectomy performed with a rusty scalpel.
He plead guilty to manslaughter when clearly it was murder
My thoughts exactly. Our system is bizarre.
Such a beautiful innocent girl. How can someone be that heartless to the extent of killing that poor little angel. Cant imagine what she went through. That bastard showed no remorse for what he did. Cant believe his free now, the justice system has failed Averie, she deserves to get justice. Rip Averie.
It's not justice if you let violent monsters back into society. They should not EVER be able to finish or appeal their way out.
When I have a bad day I scream at old people going slow in the left lane. Strangling a small child has never crossed my mind. Poor Averie! 😢
Hey, I was passing somebody!😂
Wow. You're truly a paragon of virtue...
@barneyronnie I know, right?
Poor " old people".. if you live long enough that would be you some day
No Body NO PAROLE!!! It should NOT even be a Option
You nailed the pronunciation of the town. That’s awesome!!!!!!
Born and raised in Louisiana and was really surprised when she pronounced it perfectly.
Yes! I lived there for nsu and just got whiplash when she mentioned it!
There is no way a convicted murderer should be released early for good behaviour...UNLESS they agree to disclose where the remains of a victim are.Family's need closure.Family's need to lay their loved ones to rest. The pain of not knowing where they are must be a continual devastation.😢🙏
Why the hell was he ever released that's what I would like to know
Time off for good behavior.
We will always support this channel. They're dedicated and committed to bring us the best content.
I live in Louisiana in in about 2 months older than Averie. I remember when this happened and my grandmother showing me this in the newspaper. She was warning us kids about talking to strangers and being careful when we were out playing. It's really sad and kind of touching because she wasn't that far from me and she was exact same age as me. very very sad....
I live in Shreveport and don't ever remember hearing about it. I'm 42 so id guess I'm old enough to remember. When was this? 1990? I missed that part.
Edit: Yea. I was 9 yrs old at the time. I even went to NSU and had family going there before me but still don't remember this. What I do remember is my best friends mom going missing a few years later, in Bossier. Her name was Jan Todd. She dissappeared with a guy friend one night and thru were found 10 or 15 yrs later, buried in his truck at the bottom of a huge gravel mound at a local gravel company. Their remains were in the back. They still have never identified any suspects even though it's obvious it was someone related to that gravel company.
I also remember finding out the dude I knew was a serial killer. A guy named Eric Mickelson. Killed at least 2 people and maybe more. I met him around. 2002 and found out around 2009? that he killed some people, including a girl named Kristy O'Pry that disappeared around 1990. He had always been a suspect and finally admitted it when he got busted for the other murder, IIRC.
When I was 15, a friend of mines gf was murdered and they questioned him for it. It ended up being her best friends dad that did it. Her name was Christie Wolfe. Her friends name was Christina Casey and Christina's dad broke into Christie's window and attacked her.
I also got questioned in a couple of homicide cases when my weed dealer was murdered and when my other drug dealer murdered some people.
Yea. Not stuff to brag about. I know. The feds followed me for a few weeks in one of those dealer cases. They were looking for my dealer and thought I'd lead them to him I assume.
I'm getting increasingly fed up with Law enforcement!
How the hell is he released only halfway through a sentence when he hasn't revealed where the body IS?!
He did tell them the area he disposed of her body, they just couldn't find it.
That wasn't a condition of his release. He only had to serve half the sentence due to good behavior.
These good behavior crap-sentences totally make me angry.
@@dalefc9331 i see...👍
@@loveforeignaccents I know but I just think that's a terrible idea
Yep, it is often the ones who are the closest to you in proximity. Who are the most dangerous.
What a peculiar remark.
Sickos are in every neighbourhood. Just Google sick crimes in your local area.
Child killers make me sick 🤢 RIP Sweet girl 🙏🏾 💚
I hope the family puts her dna profile out in public for any future comparisons on recovered bones.
I don’t understand how,if someone confessed, how did they not even serve half the sentence!
A predator who is a danger to children and society gets off the hook for taking a child's life. How awful!!
What sort of justice is this for the family?
Sad that so many go missing everyday. Thanks for sharing this story.
Yes but most of those are abducted by someone they know - an estranged husband etc etc
Sad and frustrating story, but impressive pronunciation of Natchitoches!
Did you misspeak? What would her body being still missing have to do with the prosecution not being able to prove the crime was premeditated? Even if they found her body, they wouldn't be able to prove it was manslaughter versus first-degree murder.
Anytime murder is on the table, it always helps to have a body, whether there would be real value in this case or not is debatable. To me, the fact that he confronted the sisters before proves premeditation. He had a pattern, he was looking for a little girl.
@@trace9657 Yeah, if you want to prove a murder in fact occurred, but not whether or not it was premeditated.
It really doesn't matter; I don't split hairs when it comes to the killing of children. I'd really like to show this monster what constitutes a truly 'bad day!'
So sad! As always thanks for your hard work. I hope you are having a great day.
Why on GOD'S EARTH WOULD THEY LET THIS MONSTER OUT?!?! Monsters like this will NEVER change!
Who decided to call it a 'good time' law?! The name alone, no matter how it was meant, is a slap in the face to victims and their families. It should apply only to non-violent offenders anyway, not the unrepentant murderer of a child. It is awesome that he is hounded everywhere he moves. He should never know a day of peace. I hope kids don't go door-to-door selling things anymore. It has always been extremely dangerous. RIP little Averie.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing, what a horrid name for such a law. Why not the 'compliant behaviour' law or something?? Ugh.
It’s too bad that someone housed with Averie’s killer hadn’t “granted” the monster with an early release either. That would have rectified laws governed of time served v the sentencing. My thoughts go out to everyone that loved and cared for Averie. ❤. RIP Averie Evans 🪽🪽🪽
I completely agree!! 😡
But the poor man had a bad day when he killed her. Omg so terrible. I guess that child didn’t have a bad day when she happened upon him.
Reminds me of the film ‘Lovely Bones’.
He knows what he did. And I’m sure Averie’s family is infuriated that he was released. I fear for our children knowing he walks our sidewalks.
Justice for Averie.
And I hope Karma serves it.
Man they better be following that dude. Not only he free he can visits her body how sick and I’m sure they aren’t even keeping an eye on him smh
So beautiful and innocence rip
I'll never understand how killing a sick creep in the act of trying to abduct/harm/kill your kid is legal, but to unalive them after they destroy your family's lives is considered murder and fully punishable by the law (the same law that wouldn't even put said child killer behind bars for life).
DC, you have class and character. Look forward to getting the notification of a new episode. Your accent and diction are lovely. Thank you.
My child was NEVER allowed to go door to door for fundraisers! We went to people we already knew, like friends & family! And I was always with her!
I literally had two girls turn up at my door last week selling candy for a school fundraiser. I was expecting to see a car waiting on them or something. Nothing. I cannot remember the last time I have seen kids that young walking up and down the roads selling anything.
That’s what I was thinking - how comes they were out on their own without an adult chaperone 😢 xx
Justice is a joke!, this monster took an innocent young life and served only 11 years instead of the 50 years he was supposed to have served, whilst Averie's family have to serve an whole life time of pain. RIP
Averie, l'am so sorry that the so called 'justice' system has let you down.😢
*I heard that wherever he was living, someone or someone's have been harassing the child killer, excellent!, please keep up the good work folks!, child killers do not deserve to live in peace.🤗👍
It baffles me that lawmakers do nothing to fix this broken system. And on the rare occasions they do something it's so minor that it ends up being completely ineffective.
One doesn't find the brightest minds in the law school! Those are found in the mathematics, physics and engineering departments 😮
They are unbelievably corrupt and focused on doing favors for corporate entities in order to enrich themselves. And never forget how the whole system swept the entire network of elite human traffickers connected to Epstein under the rug. Many are involved. They are not here to make the world a safer place unfortunately.
Thank you DC. Didn't really surprise me much when he got out. That's the way things are here, just like pretty much EVERYWHERE. Out to lunch. Monsters are protected.🙏💔😓 RIP angel🕊️🪽
The American "justice" system needs to change its name.
RIP beautiful little Averie
You are doing an amazing work with your channel! 👍🏻👍🏻
These older cases need to come to the surface over and over again till it's solved!! 🙏🏼
Are you planning to do newer cases?
Child killers should not be allowed early release. Sick.
THANK YOU FROM BOSTON 🎉🎉🎉
this is how much our sick to the core world values the life of an innocent, beautiful girl. To me, this is VERY telling. The system loves Cains, not Abeles.
This case makes my blood boil😡
*The Good Time Law* was instituted to ensure adequate prison space for those who pose a public safety threat. How does this man not pose a threat to society?! It just comes down to our overcrowded prisons here in the US. How the law works is that every week a person in custody demonstrates good behavior, it’s calculated into 13 days. So it shortens their prison time by adding 6 days to every week if they behave well.
Agreed. There are no little girls in prison, so he is able to behave himself while locked up; but if he is out in the community he surely poses a threat. How do judges and/or parole boards not see that?
@@susanmckisson5764 it’s absolutely infuriating. And majority of these offenders that get a light sentence or are released on good behavior (and not just in the US), tend to reoffend again and do something even more heinous. Our justice system here in the US is messed up. Id prefer to say f’d up, but I can’t on here. It extends to not just pedos and s*x offenders, but even minor crimes such as robbery/retail theft, drug related offenses, assault, domestic violence (don’t even get me started with that). And then major crimes. Someone that’s charged with human trafficking might only get 8 years. An attempted murder charge in the second degree might only get 9 years. And a kidnapping suspect might only get of with THREE years. It’s just crazy to me and upsetting at the same time. You never know who your neighbor is or who you’re talking to in a public setting. Sorry I ranted off topic, but it’s something to think about.
RIP, Averie 💔
There should be a law that prohibits the release of a murderer without first divulging the whereabouts of the body.
أحب جدا قناتك وطريقة سردك.أحببت التعليق بلغتي العربية حتى تعرفي أن هناك عرب يتابعونك.دمت متألقة
@8:20 I appreciate that the family are keeping his whereabouts in the public domain through their Facebook page so people can safeguard their children.
There are ways to get psychopaths like him to talk. The law has crushed the family and left them to their fate, the only way to avenge the young girl is to take the law into their own hands.
Justice here? NOT HARDLY!
Murderers should be in prison for life with no parole. Never let them out. Especially ones like this. Kidnapper and child molester and murderer. I wonder if he has assaulted or killed anyone else
Watched. Liked. Donated!
I just love your voice…❤️
I went to university in Natchitoches and my grandmother was in Steel Magnolias. Wow. Glad I watched this. I started uni there in 1999. THANK YOU for saying Natchitoches correctly! 👌🙏
You could cover my best friends mom's disappearance 60 miles from Natchitoches, in Bossier City, LA. Her name was Jan Todd. You can look her case up. She and her guy friend disappeared one night and weren't found for 10+ years.
One day, workers found a truck buried at the bottom of a 30m tall mound of gravel with their remains in the back. It's been 20+ years and they still have no suspects they've identified publicly. The truck belonged to her guy friend, Jodie Toney. They had gone out dancing that night and were never seen again. Last time they were seen was at a restaurant called Sue's Kitchen that's no longer there.
I wish that Jodie's and Jan's story would covered. I am friends with Jodie's sister. She is still (and always) hurting about her brother.
She’s a Kylie lookalike in the thumbnail. May the perpetrator(s) or suspect(s) never achieve peace in this life and the next.
No body = no parole
This plea bargaining is absurd, simply getting a plea of guilty to lesser charges to save court time & cost. So wrong………If the prosecution doesn’t have sufficient evidence, work harder to get it.
My parents never let me knock on stranger's doors. If I did I would have to go with someone else. Smh...😒
You don’t just have a bad day, “snap” and kill a child. Or if you do, you don’t deserve to be free in public. What a defense 🙄
Good afternoon everyone hope you are having a good day. Greetings from the USA.
👋 from Belgium. 🇧🇪
Hello from Wales.
Once a predator, always a predator
No Body No Parole
Just snapped and had a bad day?!! Justice has not been served. I feel sadly sorry for Avery. She didn't deserve that basz tard's actions. Rest in peace sweetie.
I think he never revealed the location of her remains because they would have found evidence of rape and he’d be convicted of that as well. And he didn’t want to be labeled a pedophile since they are routinely beaten in jail.
33 years and her loved ones probably feel like it happened yesterday. A child killer should never see the light of day again.
Two other very similar cases, 5 year old Melissa Brannen was abducted & killed from a Christmas party in Virginia by Caleb Daniel Hughes in 1989. Her body was never found. He served only 29 years of a 50 year sentence and was released in 2019. In Wisconsin in 1975 9 year old Lisa French was raped & murdered while trick or treating on Halloween by Gerald Turner. He was sentenced to 38 years, served only 17 years and was released in 1992. He’s been in & out of prison since then as Wisconsin residents vehemently protested each release. I believe he is currently in a supervised waiting facility awaiting release yet again.
We live in an utter joke of a society. Rapists & murderers are not deterred, never thinking twice because of soft punishment. I guess these monsters would’ve done more time in prison had they been drug dealers. DeSalle, Hughes & Turner should’ve all been executed. Not just executed, but executed Wrong Turn 4 Doctor style, publicly, for all to see. I believe this would definitely deter predators from committing these heinous crimes.
Murderers and kidnappers should never be free and they can’t do it again
Averie 😢R.I.P
I’m usually proud of my state. But this story makes me ashamed of my home.
I cannot believe they let this monster out! I can’t believe he got a plea deal, without even letting the family know where that child’s body is.
Unbelievable. Shocking. Sickening.
Shame on that D.A. who thought manslaughter and a plea deal was sufficient.
🥺🥺
I love how she pronounces the name of the city
He should of never got out. He killed a far better person than himself and he didn't tell anyone where to find the little girl was. If someone this horrible actually gets out early he should of been forced to tell the family where she is before he could even be considered. He is the only person that can go her grave because he didn't give the family that right. He should of remained in prison you do not reform people that kill children he is just waiting to do it again.
Did they dig up his property at least?
The parents should have been more careful and not let her wonder off alone. The guy should have served complete sentences. I thought they killed child murderers/ molesters in jail. The jail mates messed up
6:20 - so, basically, if you make prison guards life easier they let you out earlier to make non-prison guards life harder
The DP makes everyone's lives easier.
@@eadweard. how, please?
The family are constantly having to update his location then people have been moved amongst him then have to get him kicked out and all the while he can be a danger to others (unless, of course, prisons cure people of their lifelong psychopathy ?!"
Back then kids were allowed to go door to door. These days we know better. Poor child.
I sold candy door to door for my parochial school. Shudder.
What a perfect neighbor NOT why harm a child who wasn't malicious
Averie was my best friend we both loved George micheal!!! I miss her very much!!!
Out to strike again.only a matter of time.
She's dead ...
Parole? Why? How can that be?
We have to give him credit for bringing closure and the plea, but no body information or location, has to be guaranteed life.
Avery is only 6 months younger then my daughter. I can just imagine that little girl on her bike peddling around the neighborhood selling candy like my daughter and her friends did for school back then.
Sadly 99 percent of the people are nice and decent and harmless but, that one percent is what makes life so scary for parents. You don't know who the potential 1 percent would be. The ones not on the child abuser lists. But, since the time of Avery's death two things have come along that makes it harder to protect your child and makes them more vulnerable to abusers.
One is the kicking out of kids from malls as meeting up places to be with friends and meet new ones. The safety and protection offered with adults in stores and security made it easy for kids to hang out with each other and have a safe place to go where lots of other kids were.
Now they only have the streets and hanging indoors with the internet - which is the other culprit. No other friends around to talk sense and caution into you while talking to some 'cute boy' who is actually a 47 year old fat loser who likes young girls. And without the safety of numbers with other kids and adults around you become a target.
Such a cute little girl. May she rest in heavenly peace...
How is it possible to parole someone who confessed and refused to say where the body is???????????? I'm surprised he didn't get a slap in the wrist to begin with😮 Shameful 😠
He shouldn't have been released until he told the authorities where her body was in my opinion. I think that's shocking. He'll be hounded for the rest of his life so perhaps that in some small way keeps justice going.
Poor Averie...
Of course he could behave in prison: there weren't any children for him to murder... when he frustratingly had a 'bad day'.
Let’s hope he doesn’t have a bad day.
The justice system fails yet again and I'm sure in prison they had him in pc because otherwise the inmates would have taken care of him.
Sorry but why do parents let their kids roam the neighborhoods? I am 59. My Mom did not let me do that. I was not allowed to ride my bike In The street. I did not stay home alone. She was overprotective. I love her for that!!💜. I did the same with my sons. Even in the 70s and 80s there were monsters out there!!😱
I don’t understand the law. Why let them out ? They will do it again!! 😢
No remorse? Got away with it and walking free now. Wow that guy will totally commit the crime again it’s only a matter of time, yikes!
