- Just decided to get a quick shifter so i started looking and best one i can find is TransLogic, its expensive but the best one out there, they make all the OEM quick-shifter for many different make and models of motorcycle. for 2020 Z900 product number TLS-iS4-DCS-85 but make sure to communicate with the customer service to get appropriate parts for your install. enjoy : )

Nice! I've been looking at the Translogic kit myself. Can I just order the product number you listed or are there other "specific" parts I'll need for the 2020? Thanks!
For 2020 Z900 this is the product number but communicate with the customer service so they can configure the wire for Kawasaki, the same kit they use for Honda Suzuki and Kawasaki and Yamaha. Good luck 👍 I’m very happy with out of the box default setup !

Thanks for taking the time and making such elaborate video. I have the exact same bike and was thinking of installing a QS. All stock other than some cosmetic upgrades. I'm torn between Annitori vs Translogic. The former offers both up/down but the latter has only up shifting. I'm sure you did extensive research before picking Translogic. Would you be able to elaborate a bit more why you decided on this unit? Thank you for your help in advance. Cheers.
You are right, did lots of research and decided to go with translogic because they are OEM Quickshifter manufacturers for most of the bike comes with Quickshifter installed. Quickshifter works flawlessly, I haven’t had any issues since I’ve installed it! Do need to use an app to mess with just install find the correct settings of your needs and just live it there. Hope that helps

After installation did you have to adjust the three settings on the back? If so, where did you adjust them to? Yours looks smoother than mine on my 2019
After installing I don’t adjust at all. After test ride I found the system is perfectly setup for my taste so I didn’t not mess with it at all.
Good .. now. Ur bike will be fst ,smooth and gear shifting will be. Smooth too...😃😃
Indeed it is smooth!! I’m pretty smooth shifting gears but quick shifter makes it flow less.!!

Just traded in my Yamaha MT-07 (2014) with a Z900 2022, wanted a QS on it too and the Healtech was recommended but it seems to be up only so I suggested this brand, they are not really familiar with it but they gonna install it anyway. It's expensive though, hope it's worth the money.
1st of all congratulations 🎉. On new z900, great choice! I had no complaints with mine such a reliable machine! Translogic Quickshifter is little expensive but worth every penny! I had no problem but fun 🤩 good decision! Enjoy 😉 and ride safe
@@SoloMCRider thanks, delivery is around 4 weeks so have to be a little patience also someone tipped my bike over while I was test riding the z900. Need to sort that out too. Steering is completly bend and other damages on the right side. Got a loaner from the shop.

No I do not have blip assist function on this quickshifter , I believe now you have an option to add blip assist on the kit!

Solo de subida. La Z900 lleva acelerador por cable, no lleva ride by wire.
Por lo tanto no se le puede instalar quickshifter de bajada, a menos que la pases a acelerador electrónico.

That’s everything in the box , I only used one spacer ring not enough room for both so I made adjustments as you saw in the video! Thank you 😊 good luck if you are installing one !

No, this one installed on my bike only up shifts .

Good question! When I ordered the kit I reached out to translogic and they configure the kit for the z900 and swap the connector for me so I didn’t have to do the swap. When you get your kit make sure follow the instructions page is very detailed! Thank you

Yeah i read the manual. But the pictures and information is upside-down, compared with how it is when you unpack it all.
So pretty hard to figure out by just looking at it.
But also read that that you can always measure it with multi meter :)

Thank you mate! Wiring harness is bike specific, instructions comes with the kit, very easy to swap the plugs following the instructions! I didn’t wanted to anyone following same as mine because this quite shifter kit fits Yamaha, Suzuki Honda and Kawasaki. Thank you again!

Do you have to work with a Programm or only install and Ride ?
Just install and ride! If you want to make any change on shifts it’s possible but not needed. The program comes with it was perfect 👍

I think this is ur first job opening the bike, bcoz u mentioned first of removing the side fairing instead of removing frame covers and first seat , and u dnt need to remove the front side panels , u can access by the coils by removing the tank ,air box .
Yes this was the first time I took a part of this bike! All the parts I removed to have easy access to air box and coil packs, I’m sure I could have cut corners to access coils but I was very comfortable removing everything and putting it back tomorrow lol 😂

Only up shifting! Blip assist only available for Yamaha from translogic. Price you pay for Quickshifter without needing a power commander translogic is the best I would say:) thank for !

It took me almost 4 hours but it is my favorite 🤩 mod out of all!! It is 💯 % good luck installing the Quickshifter, make sure take your time and follow the instructions! Cheers 🥂
@@SoloMCRider thanks bud. How's the flash working out? I just bought my bike and would send out the ecu but I just passed 100 miles and want to wait until the first service lol
You are welcome 🙏 I don’t get to ride the bike yet with ECU flash with full exhaust system installed, but I will soon as I get back home 🏡. Unless you are installing full exhaust system I would wait until at least factory warranty is up to get ECU flash. But ECU tune will unleash the best!!

A word of warning. Fitting this item will invalidate your Kawasaki warranty.
I doubt it but I will check the warranty terms and conditions. Quickshifter makes the bike safer , it decreases the wear and tear on the transmission and clutches as far as I know. Thank you
