  • The Z900 super naked from Japanese marque Kawasaki's stable epitomizes how an ideal super naked should look, feel, and perform. In terms of performance, this aggressive beast will win the heart of any kawi lover who has tasted one of their "Z" bikes before. For 2024, it is even more attractive because the manufacturer has loaded it with some mind-blowing next-gen features.

Must be a world where a mt09 doesn't exist with many more features and electronics for similar price. Not to mention that magic engine.

    Hello everyone,
    first of all, nice video.
However, I think that Kawasaki slept a bit here with the Z900. How many years has the Z900 been around now? The only update that came was the TFT display and, true, the colors kept changing.
The comparison to the MT-09 will be difficult this year. This will be reflected in the sales figures at the end of the year. I think that Yamaha will overtake Kawasaki here.
Your video sounds a bit like a promotional video, don't get me wrong please, but the tires are not good. The design is good but "old".
The display in connection with the app on the cell phone is old-fashioned. The app itself too. I think with a bike like this, and I have a Z900 myself, you shouldn't "actually" shy away from the comparison to the MT-09. Unfortunately, with the 2024 model year you have significantly worse cards when it comes to equipment, comfort and setting options.
    Warm greetings from Germany

Okay, so far so good. I like the Kawa but the tires aren't worth the money. There are the Pirelli Diablo Rosso, the Bridgestone S 22, Metzeler M9rr or Roadtec 01 SE but please no Dunlops.

When you buy the bike you like most there are no losers nor winners. It’s just you enjoying your new ride.
If you keep focusing on which technological combination is best vs. Money, then you can’t be happy, never. Forget about data sheets, just ride.

Just ride an Indian FTR 1200 Sport / Carbon and you'll know what it's all about!!! This is definitely a cool bike but not as pretty or as fast as my Indian... Why doesn't anyone add the Indian FTR 1200 into these naked reviews??? Pipe, tune, couple tweaks and I'm at almost 150hp / 105 ft-lb torque on my 2023 Indian FTR 1200 Sport. Plus the Indians look sooooo much better!
Comes stock with Metzeler M9rr tires, too.
Yes, I've absolutely wrecked Z900's. Really the only thing my Indian gets nervous about are H2, Hyabusa, M1000RR, Honda 1000RRR Fireblade, and super trick litre sport bikes but it holds its own!

I agree with you, they are beautiful bikes, tried to buy myself, buy timing was an issues. i still think about that bike. But i have to disagree with your statement that you can hang with big dogs as you say. Rode the FTR and my zx10r was 100% faster than the FTR. Im sorry, But as much as i want the Indian, its not in the same category as bikes you've listed.

@@SonriseSunset Thanks for the heads up regarding those typos (yep, I'm missing my beloved Blackberries, too), the corrections draw a totally different picture about the future development of the 💚Z900 💚.
A few pounds lost wouldn't hurt, sure.
However, compared to my Z900/Z1000 of the '70s, the Z900RS of today rides like a 450 pounder anyway 😁.
Hopefully, the future weight diet doesn't harm the reliability of the il-4 kwaki engines.
