It has to be the Duramax. None of the other engines come close to that.
When I set my screen on my GMC Sierra denali 2022 and turn it off and get back in it and turn it on again I have to reset my screen to where I had it
Is there an infotainment center delete option when buying a car?
Yes, buy the same truck with, the 2.7L Turbo engine or by the work truck version of this vehicle. It will not have as many features on the truck though, but out will cost a lot less.
@@2024CorvetteE-Ray Good, last thing I want to do is mess around with a computer when the interior of the car is 140 degrees after being parked. I never use this stuff, paying for it seems suicidal.

Beautiful truck, love the red! I’ve read on forums the infotainment system has a response lag and some say it takes a few minutes to load up and pick up your iPhone for CarPlay. Any truth to that with yours? I fully expect any car system to take 1-2 minutes to load up on start up. Curious because I’ve been flirting with the idea of getting a Sierra… love the new interior.
Not with mine, it’s not the fastest but it does not take that long to load. Maybe about 10 t seconds for me. Then it connects to my phone and I’m off and running.
My question is....
Does it tow as well as the 5.3l?

@@2024CorvetteE-Ray, so, is that a yes or no? I was just wondering if you have had experience pulling with both engines. I have the 5.3l, but thinking of my upgrade to the 3.0 if it is an upgrade.
@@jmoe6253 inline 6 is one of the BEST engines for towing, just research a little. That's why I gave you that link first, and you also have options to search around the net.
Well, it would be worth mentioning that without subscription the infotainment system is very limited; no speed limit posted on my HUD, screen customization is also limited just to name a few, and dealer never mentioned that you have to pay monthly for basic features. So... no, my next truck will not be chevy.
Question, when you have Apple CarPlay on in the truck, is there an option to let the Apple CarPlay stretch across the full screen or will it always stay in a split screen mode? I noticed when you originally start of the video it had Google maps up and was using the full screen. Wondering if there is an option when you plug in Apple CarPlay
No it does not, neither does android auto. You can plug in an iPhone or Android phone, works the same.
@@2024CorvetteE-Ray so the only way to get a full screen of navigation is to do the in car google NAV, correct?

@@2024CorvetteE-Ray All black Elevation w/ the Duramax - 2WD (I don’t off road so didn’t care to pay more for the X31 or more for insurance on 4WD) - Premium Package w/ the jet black leather and the Bose. I’m a B2B Salesman and I’m on the road all day everyday. I wanted a little bit of luxury since it will be my office on wheels. I love music and great sound so the Bose was a must for me. The Duramax I’m sure will do me wonders on fuel efficiency.
Yep, it will. Took another short trip today, about 70 miles one way. Got 29mpg after it was all said and done, so you will LOVE this engine. [And most of the trip was up hill, sot that is saying a lot for this engine and transmission.] Sometime we get bad weather, and 4X4 will help me out. I drive in 2WD though, that's how you will get the most out of your fuel economy with this truck. Most I've gotten was 37.3mpg...simply amazing.
@@2024CorvetteE-Ray Those are insane numbers for a pickup. Aside from the Duramax and it’s fuel efficiency, what’s the one other thing (or things) that’s impressed or wowed you the most about your truck?
@@FlyingToilet627 The color for one, I would normally go for Silver. The body lines, are simply amazing. Ride quality is top notch. Comfort of the interior is great, and so much room over all. I could go on and on lol, but exterior is one of the top things I like. It looks amazing on the outside compared to the other models before. I'm working on the things I like video soon...
