Mermaid style dresses are surprisingly universally flattering. My wedding dress was a mermaid style and that really surprised me!

Devin looked beautiful in that low cut “tattooed lace” dress where they put the veil on. It absolutely looked STUNNING on her. She’s a beautiful woman anyway, but I mean she looked extra beautiful in that.

Yup!! I had a 'Man of Honor' for my wedding, some shops wouldnt let him in to the viewing area - needless to say, I did not purchase dresses at any of those places.
PSA: dont get the idea to go out and do this with your friends just to try on wedding dresses after watching this. Obviously this is a planned video and the bridal salon knew they were doing this.
HOWEVER if you go out and do this you are wasting your consultants time. I cant tell you how many times I've had "brides" come out and try dresses and waste 2+ hours of my time because they just wanted to see what it was like. Most bridal consultants are paid by commission.

Yes. Same. Luckily, I wasn’t paid on commission in the boutique I worked at but we did get bonuses based on sales and we were always working towards those bonuses, of course. It sucked when groups would come in and within 20 to 30 minutes I could tell that they were just wasting my time. It sucked.
Will they allow you to put up a sign so people can know before they do it?
Kenyetta Ready I worked at a dress store, not a bridal store but we had a lot of people for brides maids come in, but we also did prom and homecoming and just anything for a fancy dress, and even with signs saying certain things, such as “please wait for a consultant to help you with your dress” such as zipping or corseting, they ignored the signs and then many many dresses would get damaged cause they didn’t listen to the signs in and around the dressing rooms
Ohhh that makes total sense! Thank goodness someone said it. I'd never actually go and try on dresses like that, but it's good to know that information.

Also, as a bridal shop employee, all of Susie's advice was spot on: no large groups, bring only a few people you trust to be honest and kind, leave the bitter b*tches at home, don't be afraid to ask your consultant for help, pay attention to verbal indicators from the bride or your group, and don't let your entourage put you down. CONGRATS TO ANY LOVELY POTENTIAL BRIDES WATCHING THIS, AND STAY BEAUTIFUL!
Heres what I loved most about this video. Kristen or whatever her name is/spelt had explained her lack of confidence due to her stomach. Then she tried on those dresses and looked S T U N N I N G. Never put yourself down and have faith in your natural beauty. I also loved the wedding lady, she was chill asf. This video honestly made me want to get married xD
