Have Fun, Super Ron!
Excellent work! Really lucky how some things work with just a llitle modding. I really enjoy this series, make them longer! 😁
Oh, and are you switching intake manifold?
Thanks for watching 😁 no we've decided the lefty is going to work nicely!
New beetle sump, Oem shallow sump 👍🏻 and mod oil pick up
We have got a tin bottom tt sump to go on, it'll be a bit more resilient than the cast alloy
Are you going to be chopping the rain tray out for this one? And are you going to be doing anything about correcting bump steer and getting the arms back to a sensible angle? These don’t drive very well once the lower arms start pointing upwards! 😅
No the rain tray is staying on this one to keep it on the practical side, cool air for the blowers and screen drainage. Yes we have ball joint raisers and flipped trackrods to go on, all in a future episode 😁
@@SuperRon excellent. I’m eagerly awaiting those. So many ways of doing it out there, I’ve not pulled the trigger. Running my caddy on BC ultra lows and I would love to get the geo a bit better! 😂
Great vid, used to enjoy your build threads back on MIG. Honestly think your channel will explode with this project!
There are tons of migwebers that have re-found me again now. Forum posts were 100 times easier than youtubing that's for sure! Thanks for watching 😁
Fuck me you know what your doing!!! Can't wait to see this baby grow!! Awesome mate, with videos of this quality, it's only a mater of time b4 your massive on yt
Thanks for watching 😁 the caddy does seem to be grabbing alot of attention which is awesome 😎
Looking good Ron!! It's nice to watch someone doing a MK1/1.8t without making a big deal out of it, good skills!! 😂👍
Thanks for watching 😁
Man, I love this hot rodding approach that is sorting out stuff as you go and combine parts what you have from mk1 and from TT. 👌.not scratching your had in front of CAD software and 3D printer and overthinking everything.. great job!!
Thanks for watching 😁 it comes from not having an open cheque book budget on my own builds, make the best of what you already have!
Really enjoying this build Ronnie, iv always wanted a 1.8T Caddy👌🏻
They are cool cars! Thanks for watching 😁
Hi would you mind putting the links for the air ride company link in the description of the next video. 👍 great content smashed the play button as soon as a saw the video pop up ❤
Yes no problem, thanks for watching 😁
Hi , will you be fitting a sump gard because how low the engine sits, even at standard ride height? As think it would bottom out on speed bumps and curbs on british Street.
They are very vulnerable on these, theres a few options of shallow sump, and a tt one has a metal lower so it wont crack like a alloy one will. Thanks for watching 😁
Great seeing all the work going into a build but it seems alot people does the engin swops but there never anything how to stop these cars...meaning break upgrades and options... love to see more
Thanks for watching 😁 yes we will be doing brake upgrades too!
@SuperRon Great. Please dont skip important part....easy to fit the Golf 2 Gti rear parts but nothing shown on how to prevent a 180 turn since the back tends to lock up under hard breaking😢
Loving the videos Mr Superron keep them coming 😊
Thanks for watching 😁
Excellent work as always
Great attention to detail 😊
Thanks for watching 😁
Are you going to do the wiring? I need help with mine
Yes I'll be doing all the wiring in future episode's too
Yes! Been waiting for this👍

Where are you based?
We are near Woodbridge, Suffolk.
Have you ever made a rear engined, rear wheel drive caddy? I've had the idea for ages.
No, but that would be an awesome project 😁
Love these vids , look forward to the next one 👌
Thanks for watching 😁 I've got loads of other playlist to keep you occupied untill the next one is out 😎
