You might want to double check the instructions on Salt Away. They say to turn it off as soon as you see the product come out and leave the Salt Away in the motor, not flush it out. It’s something I learned reading the instructions on various salt products.some have acid content and must be flushed, but not Salt Away.
@@bayoubanditcharters yes your right. Maybe because I have a 200hp vMax 2 stroke it says not to run engine . My engine never pisses with the Earmuffs. Very annoying
I have that exact motor with only 7 hours on it. I also have that same speedometer/tachometer gauge you have. Can you do a video on the gauge? Mine doesn't show miles per hour or MPG. Does yours?
@@SteveRead-x4g your impeller is designed to pick up water from the lower unit and pump it up to your block to cool the engine. The flush ports are used to flush from the top down with motor not running.
Hey man, how come you removed the 300hr service. I was really looking forward to using that as a guideline for my upcoming 300hr service, tons of information was in there.
Thanks for the tips! I live near the NC OBX so that salt is tough! Great video
Thanks brother!

Definitely! I love mine! Be sure to check out my 20 hour and 100 hour service videos as well, thanks!

Thanks brother, I appreciate your comment!
Nice❤. Greetings from Norway
Cool! Thanks for your comment!!
Thanks for all the excellent videos and the tip about the round muffs vs the square ones. What brand model of muffs do you use exactly?
You’re welcome brother! Don’t remember the brand, but they came from Amazon.
Nice review 👍🏼.
On the label of saltsgone is says not to run concrete while engines running.?
If you meant to say concentrate, the flush kit is designed to mix the right amount of water with the salt a way

Cool! Be sure to check out my 20 hour service video! It only shows gallons per hour.
Can you use salt away through the ports?? I have mine on a lift in a marina
You can but do not run your motor. Best practice is the muffs on a running motor which will open the thermostat to flush entire system.
@bayoubanditcharters thank you! Love tour Channel. I have learned alot as I'm a first time boat owner with a new suzuki 200. Keep up the great videos!
why do you say not to run the motor when flushing thru the ports?

I haven’t reached 300 hours yet, so I never had a video on it, lol!
@@bayoubanditcharters i mixed it up with the 100hour service then. I'd watch it again, thanks
Did it all wrong
