what an incredible documentary! i really enjoyed the stunning visuals and the fascinating insights into arctic life. however, i can't help but think that it glossed over the impact of climate change in the region. wouldn't it have been more impactful to dive deeper into that issue?
Sea ice begins freezing at +28.8°F (-1.8°C). At 6:09 in the video it incorrectly states that an ocean temperature of -28.8°F (-33.8°C) is necessary for ice to begin forming on the sea.
Claiming a 30k ton cruise ship sailing to the North Pole is environmentally friendly is absurd 👎 This is a disaster for the polar ice cap, polar bears etc. Not even nuclear powered.
I really appreciate your efforts! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
This ship was beaten in every way by the Russian Ice breakers, but the Russian ice breakers were powered by nukes. So no, this ship has already been beaten by the russians 2 years before it was built. This is not the most amazing ship ever. It has all been done by the Russians.
Largest Russian ice breaker can brake about maybe 10% thicker ice... There are no ships powered by nukes. Nukes are weapon. Ships can be powered by NUCLEAR REACTOR... Russian icebreakers don't have azipods, their hull design is outdated, thats the reason why their engines MUST be nuclear powered,to create a huge amount of power. They are no efficient, and that means a high cost of a ship..old Soviet design from '70s. Also when you got a nuclear powered ship, you need to have a special permits to enter in most of territorial waters,or harbours... So...Its not beaten in ANY way by Russian icebreakers.. this cruiser can go anywhere, and it has got air condition, for warm climate..
For all the COMMENTARY , I wish the people who shared the negative and useless thoughts in their TINY brains would remain silent... please share something positive or just shut up !!! It would have been nice to see the passenger accommodations ? Thanks all the same 🎉
You can be proud of this fantastic ship, Grande Nation ❤
Impressive ship!😁
Indeed it is!
The most amazing ship I hve ever been on 👍
That's an amazing ship.
Not a second devoted to the onboard facilities for the passengers.
I wish I could afford to take this cruise and participate in the studies.

What do the cabins look like? Apparently we'll have to wait for the sequel.
There are plenty of clips here on youtube where you can see the cabins
This ship can't charged the ice like the Russias ice breakers 😂😂😂😂😂
Great docu but I was expecting to watch what the passengers been doing all throughout the journey...

How much did this ship cost?
Probably all of the money that is needed for France to be part of NATO
Apparently close to 400 Mio Euro.
@@bubffm Thank you for that. with the money spent on these luxury yots (I spelt that wrong) it's not a lot of money.
I’m not sure what the point of this ship is.

Please use the standard metric, celsius and meters
Ok video but a bit over dramatic.
