      they are brilliant, i'd really recommend Pier City customs. based in the UK & they import them from Italy production factory for you. Should take about 1 week. 40th anniversary is a great colour scheme!

    Well, many thanks for you video.
    I just did the very same for my urban GS. BUT ->
    all in all more than 2 1/2 hours because of few mistakes easy to avoid. Let me list so maybe it can help others too.
    1/ do not remove the passenger footpegs from their position ( do exactly like in the video ) , otherwise you'll loose a spring and a small bearing steel ball. very annoying to find back , and almost a nightmare to put back in the right position. Took me a lot of thought !
    2/ My paniers and structure came with an extra piece of metal to move backward the back indicators. I thought, well nevery mind, i don't care if my indicators are not well seen from every angle.
    Mistake ! the indicators are exactly in the way of the 2 paniers !
    So you do have to move them away BUT the electrical wires are too short with no extra length, so be prepared for a plan B . Mine was to loose the indicators and string them horribly to the luguage rack ( that i have from same maker )
    3/ Never Never try to unscrew the fixings inside the panniers. it's a pain in the A.. to screw it back.

    great product, thank you for presenting. Do you have to move the rear turn lights to another position ? They aren't visible from the side anymore I guess... Or do you put additional ones ( i.e. LEDs ) on the panniers ? I am close to order the set myself for my Rnine t ... At the same time, they are great protection for the Titanium exhaust pipe if you drop the bike 🙂

    • @AnotherHipster
      @AnotherHipster  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sorry for the really long delay, TH-cam has hidden lots of comments for some reason. Yes they come with an Indicator moving kit which was easy to do, They are no longer visible from the side which is great point.... Hahaha yes they are fairly tucked in, I flipped my bike on a dirt road recently and amazingly indicators survived untouched

    Hey, I really like the looks of those panniers. I also watched some of your vids of your trip around Greece. Now that you got some kilometers behind you and some days of experience travelling with those panniers, would you recommend them? I'm actually thinking about getting a pair for my R nineT Scrambler.

    • @AnotherHipster
      @AnotherHipster  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Max, thanks for watching those it was a brilliant trip. The panniers were great I did 8000 miles and never had any issues with them, the left one gets hotter than the other because of the exhaust. So I did have some very horrible Luke warm water bottles, but it was a quick fix. I’d highly reccomend them, well worth the price and they fit onto the standard GS rack so if I change bikes in a year or so it just clicks straight over & I’ll sell the rail

  • @clementgoure1101
    @clementgoure1101 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @AnotherHipster
      @AnotherHipster  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No they are a seperate product, if you look at the description for the pannier it should say something like “designed to fit - “ and it’ll list either the black colour or the silver colour link. Or if not try shopping by the motorbike category you need, then click luggage and it should show up that way

    • @AnotherHipster
