🤣 I use to put the 1/8 scale HPI Phatlines on my 2wd stampede with the castle sct 4pole combo on 3S. Looked killer and fast and fun in a straight line but very rough on the drive shafts and screws that never came loose before came loose 🤣

Heck, I'd love to ride it into battle. All we need now is to swap that Xmaxx that's between those wheels for a Raminator and we're good to go.
@@IllusionSector Rams are just too big to do anything that the Xmaxx and Kraton currently can do. With a Ram you're getting in to lifesize scales.......almost, main point here being that there is simply too much mass and inertia being created by being so big.
If you just like belting on flat tracks without any Monster jumps though, good rig for sure. I have not met one yet though, that I can not destroy with my Castle Widemaxx.

This is awesome! This came out great!! Very cool to see the Xmaxx with giant wheels and tires. I did something similar to a Stampede. It was proportionally similar as I used tires off an Associated MGT. I did have to grind away some plastic to make some space for a much bigger spur. Using the smallest pinion I could find has had it running without issue for a couple years now. It's only got the VXL set but it runs well.
Just got my first Xmax today I got 4s arrma Seton going local rc shop put Noth bigger spur gears tomatoes and make some belted tires for my xmas
They actually look good on it. But that's a big shoe to turn.

Sick man I like how you try different shit with your rigs. I put ryft axles on a bomber chassis and locked the diffs and use ryft tires put 16 grams of wait in the front tires and it's crawls up anything.i really like your video bro keep making um bro, thanks

Will the drivetrain like the axles/ dogbones be able to handle those tires, like it won't shear the pins on the dogbones or twist the axles?

Could some make bigger xmaxx wheels like the Raminators but alot lighter? What about the wheels like the Arrma fireteam, military style.
Idk man these are plastic but meant to hold an 80lb truck. Maybe they could but there really isn’t a market for them.

That was deff awsome man can’t believe how different the center diff acts but like u pointed out the weight & the circumference is good bit of difference last thing I thought being a problem is those ring & pinion gears ⚙️ I guess size doesn’t always mean everything 😅

I had to use the adaptor rings that came with the proline Masher X tires

@exocaged hey mate try the Louise 3.8 1/2 offset wheels, they are nice and huge and i have 3 sets, the MT-CYCLONE, MT-MCROSS and the MT-ROCKET. I love them all ive used them on 1/8 and 1/10 scale vehicles.....get a set and youll see their beauty👍

Excessive load, means the truck is geared too high or too heavy or in this case tires are too big plus those other two.
