I miss my old Saxo’s 🥲 My first one was a weird one.. 1.4 8v VTR, which had a VTS specced interior from factory. Originally imported to Ireland, then I bought it back in 2006/7 in England. Had 30k on the clock when I bought it. Wrote it off eventually with 120k showing just 1 1/2 years later. Replaced it with a proper 1.6 VTR right after. 😂 Miss those cars, so simple to work on!

@@raouf8025 So true! Citroen Saxo´s/Peugeot 106's corner really well and when shit goes south they are pretty predictable as well. My guess would be that the mate in question didn't know the corner and went in too fast?

Well, actually NLS needs a brake switch on a clutch pedal, so a touch of clutch pedal could activate it(same as brake lights, or cruise Control turnoff) and disable only when clutch is full released. Because switch on bottom would cause overrev in middle of clutch-in, and full rev limiter on clutch-off and burn the clutch. Also a button on throttle bottom connected in-series(in-line) would be good so NLS and launch Control work on 100%throttle. And allow for rev-match downshift and heel-n-toe.

It will just idlle. The launch control button activate a map limited at 4700 rpms. You push the button and acelerate to launch.. To the car dont slip much and dont loose time on racing use on the start of the race.

16v VTS with open headers, best car in terms of fun i had till now (group n exhaust, all time ReeeeEEEEeeeeeeeee classic)

Set it up so it's engaged with the cluch at full extention and it will also help with flat foot shifting (NLS)

One of these was for sale here in Switzerland Citroen Xsara WRC 1.6 16V car looks great even after 20 years...
When Citroën was good. Nowadays I can't even tell you any of there cars, they do have DS but DS only success story is Formula E.

DS makes really nice cars such as DS7 Crossback or new 2021 DS4. DS5 was also very good looking.
