Bright Squad take on Rasselbock Backyard Ultra, a last man standing race. Watch a team of ordinary people, take on their impossible, as they find normality within the insanity and attempt to push to new limits, celebrate PBs and Shine Bright together. www.werunbright.co.uk
Bright squad crew are true heroes!...so much love and care they gave to the running team...you are lucky to have such a great bunch. I loved every bit of this video. Alos moved my ass a little bit the next day and ran 50K...thank you!
This is a wonderful film and an awesome event! I was on the registration desk, and then at Marshal Point 3 for the first few hours, and it was a pleasure chatting to these guys as they went passed each lap. It was lovely to see how they all progressed in this film - I'd seen the results at the time, but the results never tell the whole story, and this was brilliant!
Incredible storytelling and even more incredible characters. Thank you for sharing the stories of some awesome people in such a lovely way. The evolving head photos were a really nice touch. Love this channel and when I can I’ll try and join the Patreon to support.
Loving this video and the raw emotion that such an event can induce. Everyone in it did absolutely amazing, it was so inspirational. These videos only serves to fuel my desire to finally run a backyard ultra. Thank you Kelp and Fern. Keep up the good work.
Wow!! Congrats to you all! Watching such a cheerful, supportive team grind out the hours and miles made my treadmill run so much easier! Loved the time lapse photos, brilliant idea! Subscribed and can’t wait to catch up on videos!
This is a great video Martin, I'm watching it for the third time now. Taking on Rasselbock myself next week and this is a great video to help me prepare!
Glad you enjoyed it and you're catching me up, i've watched it a few times now. Hope it helps you in some small way for your upcoming race! Whats the aim? Or run til you drop ;)?
@KelpandFern I have one aim, and that's to try and finish the race! If not, I'm hoping I can manage 48-60 yards and that will be enough to get me in the UK team this year!
Liked the video and thought you all did so well but would have liked to have seen the end and also did make me cringe a bit with a lack of manners from one person.

After running my first Back Yard Ultra I can't stop watching these videos. Good job team.
Awesome! Thank you!
Liked this but would have liked to see the end as respect to the last runners… Vic had way more in her but stopped which was admirable. Well done all.
