I just want to say I've been watching you for the last few weeks getting my garden ready myself. Live in San Antonio Texas. You are awesome You inspire me so much and make me feel so good it's amazing how you make people feel happy You I don't think have any idea. I am so grateful to have you. I'm watching your new one now that was 6 hours ago. Starting season side the house and already gotten some seeds outside of vegetables. I would love your recipe for the basil tea.

I am so glad I found you. I have been gardening for a few years, just a few plants here and there. We participated in a community garden a few years ago. But this year, I have seed starts taking over my living room. I plan to actually extend my garden. It will be small, but hoping for something mighty. I feel so motivated. Thank you for bringing that energy.

Hi Asia, I’m in the process of filling a raised bed made of cinder blocks you inspired me to get. 😁 thanks for all videos. It’s coming on a year in July that I have been gardening. Lots of bags and containers.😂 nettles is my favorite although it does bite 😁I started using it in teas for my thyroid that and dandelion and some other herbs. I’m sorry if you heard this before but I do believe your daughter might just enjoy a worm farm very easy to take care of and great for the garden.

    Hello Asia!
My Name is Brenda and I have enjoyed watching your videos. I have been inspired with the Quails till I recently ordered 1 dozen eggs to incubate. I have been growing food for the past 5 years, You have motivated me to grow more food than I have in the past. I'm inspired being around like minded Sister's as your self.

Hi Asia, this is your Jimmy Nardello pepper fan 🥰 I enjoyed your video today, I always enjoy your positivity and your attitude about growing veggies and fruit 💜 I've really gotten into hydroponics, but still have my outdoor container garden. In Central Florida you can have something growing outside pretty much 12 months of the year...I started a Jimmy N. pepper in the fall and have had my first pepper from it. I've done so well growing this pepper, I believe I might try the Shishito pepper you've talked about. Happy gardening...look forward to your next video. And Happy Valentine's Day ❤❤❤

Great video. Love your selection. I don’t know if you know but with Baker Creek seeds they have a guarantee that if your seeds don’t germinate or if you have problems with the live plants, they replace or give you your money back with no questions asked. I believe they give a year guarantee for live plants and two years for seeds. It may have changed but they replaced my live plant after purchase. I also like that they give free shipping. Even on live plants. And that packet of free seeds is nothing to sneeze at. I believe now that you have to spend at least $10.50 (used to only have to buy one packet) in seeds for first free. They give additional free seeds for the more you purchase. I’ve been buying from them since 2016. I hope your garden does even more exceptional than last year. Love the sound of the little quail chirping agreement to your garden plans❤. Keep up the good work ❤side note: not affiliated with Baker Creek or any seed companies. Just telling my experience. One seed company I tried to buy from the shipping costed more than the seed order. 😢I like their BC free program also for churches, community gardens, etc. they donate free seeds.

Some people say it depends on how you cook them.I have the seeds but bought fresh ones from the Asian market in the past.Im trying to plant by the " moon phrase es " this year.My problem with squash is I get mostly MALE blooms ( and they suppose to be self pollinated).I will try them GAIN! I'm focusing on medicinal herbs also.

Thanks enjoyed video. Nice seeds you will be starting. I have started some tomatoes and peppers due to space. Use the paper towel method sometimes can take a while. Tomatoes and peppers all are in large pots so do not have pot up. Also lots flowers and herbs. Want lots flowers that almost ready to flower. Started cool weather first . The Calendula is flower that does well heat and cool. Matter fact I have some still in garden that produce even when we got snow and cold weather. Made lots oil and cream that helps my skin. So want lots flowers to dry to last through out fall and winter :0). Happy seed starting.

We've grown a lot of those tomatoes. Years ago we always planted green zebra and loved them but then they started not growing very well so we stopped. My granddaughter uses the calendula flowers for salve. Always grow jalapenos but we get some hot and some mild or not hot. It's hit or miss and can surprise us in our poppers. Last year was a horrible year for cucumbers and we're hoping this year will be better. Yes, we tried butter melon, gross. Blessings.

Hi TG, SO SORRY YOU ARE STILL UNDER THE WEATHER! This flu is terrible…. Get well soon bro!
The black beauty is the ONLY eggplant I have gotten to produce well in Trinidad… the longer ones the flowers gets eaten out in the center by something. (A black wasp) as for the peppers I use the napkin cheat to help me with my peppers germination ( I struggle with peppers germinating)…… all the best with your garden this year!! I will be using the tropical gold seed this year as I have found the seed for Caribbean produce better and give higher yields…..my stock from 2022&2023 is servely diminished so I need this year to be better….anyway I could go on and on lol

Hi Asia, came across your video recently as I'm interested in homesteading. You have a beautiful garden and smile. How do you keep critters from eating up the goods?

The seeds dont get spoilt? Interesting how you can keep a seed for 4 years and it still germinates. I love what you are doing. I will do an email with an address for any give aways to Africa! hahaha

Seed can stay viable for years. The germination rate may drop but some can be used for several years. Awww thank you! Ok sounds good lol.

Any tips for a first time gardener living in Illinois? I’m excited and scared at the same time.

Hi 👋🏾! I’m not too familiar with the weather in Illinois but I can tell you to just have fun with it. Do a little research so that you can get a harvest but don’t overthink it!
