Edward: Your video is REALLY excellent. Great video, great audio, clear detailed instructions. This video will make setting up my Hee Wing T1 easy thanks to you. Great job! - Jim
Great video, I have bought this model but still need time to assemble, this video gives me great hope very well advised and informative looks easy but lets wait and see.
Hello again :D I did fly it and it fly really good! I need to adjust it better though because in stabilize mode the correction is more than it should on the wind. One more thing I did is that I installed a lidar sensor and while in qloiter the precision is great (mine is max 8 meters max, that depends on the price of lidar). Now i need to see some tutorials for tuning :D i use the heewing board.
Can I suggest upgrading to FX-25A ESC's? LOL buddy good to see you, and this plane! Some backstory, Edward the Hero was pivotal in helping me upgrade my Ranger VTOL to FX-25A's from the stock FX-20A ESC's, due to an included ESC failing at takeoff, on flight 5. No damage at all, and in fact the replacements arrive today! I have had nothing but Wins with this plane, the failed ESC the only bump so far. By tonight, though, barely an inconvenience.
Is the throttle linear in qloiter. It feels jumpy. I haven't flown yet. The throttle feels correct in fbwa. This was done one the bench holding it in my hand.
I bought one and still sit at home nothing happens bc I have no idea to get it going due to all these setup n software updates n etc… 🥴 I wish this company be more considerate to newby rookie FPV like me 👍😒
Oh TX you mean the radio 😂😂 actually I reversed from the MP in the beginning, but it wasn't working as it should. And somehow it's reversed from the Radio on all my ardupilot planes.
I am having trouble once I get to the radio calibration stage. I am using a Radiomaster Zorro and a R81 receiver. My radio and receiver bind successfully, and the aileron and elevator servos move when you tilt the airframe as if trying to stabilize. But none of my radio inputs are registering in mission planner or with the servos. I must have set something in my radio incorrectly but i am unsure what. Any advice is appreciated.
HI bro. first verify that you have input/reaction on the Radio Calibration page as you move the stick Also before that, please set the RC in parameter to the SBUS first as it may came as ELRS RC in parameter.
May I ask, is the connector pin between the wing and fuslage for non-vtol identcal to vtol version? I was thinking if I want to fly non-vtol, I just swap the wing and remove the tail motor
The LED connector on the FW is repurposed for the Tilt Servo on the VTOL, so you'd have to consider that ifin you want to play musical wings between VTOL and non-VTOL constructs. Also, I would just consider leaving the boom motor and prop in place when operating in a FW-only context - they don't contribute too much drag, I suspect.
not recommended because ch4 is used as arming and disarming the motor too. I have tried this myself, assigned slider to Ch4 and one day I found out why my motors have already disarmed itself. Get receiver with SBUS output + physical PWM output pins so you use pan tilt on ch7 and 8. I just did that on my DW Eagle with FC. Receiver such as radiomaster R168 or R86C

Except the instructions are WAY to fast for a beginner . Barely 1 sec on screen makes it hard to see what he is actually doing.
This is the quintessential video for the T1 Ranger, great job
many nights and midnights shooting and editing man
This was a very well done video. So much info, quickly, and easy to understand.
Thank you for your feedback!!! Really appreciate that! it was such a torture to make such a long video deep into midnight. sleepy
Best setup tutorial! What is your range and flight time with this setup?
Very concise, but yet still great on the important detail. Good job.
omg! thank you so much for making this Edward! beautiful video.

Cant wait until the factory T2 Cruza VTOL comes out
I really like this!!

This video is so helpfull thanks!!!! My first problem is that i cant calibrate the compas.... 1 thing at a time to solve!
Love this

it's already on FX-25A unless you got some old stock
No problem bro. Good to hear! 😁😁
awesome!
Do you have a video on just the rc radio setup i have the Radio master pocket
Nice review bro. How high altitude can it go..

Great job dude
Fantastic work... would you be able to do a video on setting up failsafe?
that is receiver specific. there are so many receivers. it's pretty simple, on the receiver manual :)
I bought one and still sit at home nothing happens bc I have no idea to get it going due to all these setup n software updates n etc… 🥴 I wish this company be more considerate to newby rookie FPV like me 👍😒
Getting me one now and I'm feeling your pain, I'm going over all tutorials but it's a lot of info wish they had a rtf version.
Nice video, my only query is that you reversed one of the outputs on your TX, I thought they should be reversed within Ardupilot & not TX ?
Hi. Which tx at which minute ya?
16.01 for next 10 secs - though you're supposed to do that in Ardupilot ?@@EdwardRCAir

Hello, may I ask how did you program the logical switches to change into multiple modes? Never done this before...
Do you already know how to do it? I would like to know too
👍👍👍

yeap same hot swap connector.

So can i use Channel 4 on the f405fcx as a FPV camera servo or is it open for a reason?
not recommended because ch4 is used as arming and disarming the motor too. I have tried this myself, assigned slider to Ch4 and one day I found out why my motors have already disarmed itself.

Is 2 blade prop better for this plane or 3 blade?
2 blades is more efficient
Doese it needs a compas gps to have position hold?
of course
I wish we weren't forced to use sbus
you are not forced to use SBUS. this supports multiple protocols. PPM. ELRS CRSF
@@EdwardRCAir Where do you plug the servo leads from the RX?
@@TheRattleSnake3145 the "RC In" bro. Or one of the Uart if you know how to configure the param

I reccomend Qtune first,
