    2 years ago it started with a hello message on bumble, then a flight over there to meet her, a couple more flights to make sure she was the one for me, while all the time she was trying her best to show me she will be a good wife to me, I married her and she is even sweeter and more caring to me now, I asked her why she tried so hard to make a relationship with me, her only answer was … because I’m a kind person, that’s all she really wanted. Now I’m so proud to provide for her, keep her safe and loved, never thought I would be this bless and all thanks to Pea talking about her country ☺️

      How much BS abut "traditions" and "the culture in your home country have changed". It's a simple thing: It's called EXCHANGE RATE. A guy who can't even afford rent in the West can go to a developing country and look rich and a walking passport to a girl dreaming of living in a high income country. But you'll buy into all those lies thinking that that sexy younger girl REALLY likes you because she is more "traditional" and really thinks your 60 year old belly is sexy. Since you don't have ANY other possible qualities as a man may have to attract women (being handsome, cool, talented, being muscular, treating women as human beings, etc) and to gain all those traits (and even the next one if you plan to to it in your home country) will take effort and time you can "suddenly become" rich and looking more attractive by that factor alone by simply moving to a low income country and spending your meager pension there. It's really JUST THAT. But accepting this clear fact huts your pride.

    • @SLOBeachboy
      @SLOBeachboy 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Well, I would have to agree with you 100% that it's always good to face your fears and to hopefully overcome them. In fact, I have often said that the only true failure in life if not even trying (out of either fear or laziness). As for the fears being reasonable or not, I would point out that fear itself is not really reasonable or rational. Fear is designed to keep animals out of danger but in human beings who can reason things out fear actually does much more harm than good. In fact, for every human life that is saved by fear there are probably a hundred more who die indirectly due to fear. Fear also causes people to miss out on both financial opportunities and romantic opportunities - I think we can all relate to the fear of rejection when we were young. Basically, fear is predominantly a negative and destructive thing in human beings - although it does feel great to overcome a fear. That is not to say that one should not have a healthy respect for possible dangers. But you do not need to be terrified of a rattle snake to know to keep a safe distance from it. There is a big difference between having a healthy respect for the dangers and being fearful. Fear almost always causes people to make the wrong decisions. Furthermore, those fears are often based on the persons own internal issues rather than on real world conditions. In fact, I have met countless women in my life who were so terrified of being hurt again that they would end up pushing all the really good guys away by seeing “red flags” that in fact did not exist. It was just their fear causing them to see things that were not there. And some will even make up absurd dating rules which they think will keep them safe from making the wrong decisions. For example, I knew of two different Thai women who had a rule that they would not date a Westerner if he had previously dated a Thai woman (so idiotic). But of course, eventually these women will always repeat the same pattern and will end up with a guy who will hurt them again and this will make them even more fearful and overly cautious.
      As for dating women in Southeast Asia I have never had any fears at all in the 35 years I have been traveling to and living in these places. I have a healthy respect for possible dangers of course but no fears whatsoever. This is primarily due to the fact that I am so good at reading people and situations that I can always weed out the scammers or gold diggers, etc., almost immediately and not waste my time on them. And once I decide a girl is genuine and that her feelings for me are genuine - which is fairly quickly - I never turn out to be wrong about her later on. But if you are not good at reading people, I guess it could definitely seem like a bit of a gamble - maybe even a game of Russian roulette. But is it really? There is actually more to it than that. The fact of the matter is that most of the guys who get into trouble in the Philippines share a similar phycological makeup which causes them to ignore even the most obvious trouble signs - not unlike people who let themselves be catfished. Basically, there are certain types of guys who are just always going to fall for scammers or women who are going to take advantage of them, and there are certain types of guys who will not. But it has nothing to do with how much experience you have in the Philippines or how much you have educated yourself to the dangers. These first types of guys will always end up with the wrong women no matter how many TH-cam videos they watch on the dangers of women in the Philippines. Then of course there is the flip side of this coin. You have a lot of these guys who think they can always spot the scammers but in reality, they are just so jaded and cynical that they think pretty much everyone is out to get them. In other words, they are mistaking cynicism for being savvy and street smart. And I have run across of ton of these types in Southeast Asia. By the way, you should never watch TH-cam videos made by these types of guys.

      Everything you said, I have from my wife in America whose Caribbean. I'm not against traveling and going abroad but I find that if you believe you SHOULD or HAVE TO or you make a big deal about it, usually you were part of the problem of why you couldn't land a good woman in the states to begin with. There's plenty " traditional values, soft nature, and supportive team sport attitude" women in the West but when men stopped vetting and demanding things of women, they accepted the behavior of bad women or just immature women more often. Something men also forget is that, foreign women come to U.S.A/West all the time. Both for work, to live, to visit family and other reasons. Here in New York, we have entire communities of different people groups. If you want a Filipina, just go to the Filipina community and hang out. I'm black, when I was dating mostly Latina's, I just hung out in their neighborhoods and had no problem finding girlfriends.
      Also hung out in Caribbean places. My wife is Caribbean, we just happen to meet online. She was born in America, went to her parents country, came back when she was 18, I met her when she was 26. perfect balance of traditionalism and understanding American culture too and rejecting the foolish parts. Been with my wife for 7 years.

      @@drjonesey5 You speak truths. But, they the elephant in the room has been said a zillion times in this video, namely, the "age pill". Real romantic love requires Passion (hot burning desire) as shown in the Sternberg's Triangle. Most of these relationships are about Companionate love (for marriage, babies, sending money home, etc.). This is why the lady seeking a foreigner says "age is just a number" (it's not). It's a road out of poverty.

    I was introduced to my loving Filipina thru a mutual friend after my divorce.
    We talked for almost a year before I went to the Philippines and met her and the family.
    I was welcomed with open hearts, enjoyed my time while there and when I came back to the states I left my heart with my loving lady.
    I filed with immigration for her to come here. We had to wait to be together. She finally was able to come here March 1st of 2022. We were married soon after and I'm truly grateful for the last 2 years, more than she knows even though I try my best to express my gratitude daily.

Get to know the people so they can understand what Filipino's expect from them. Isolation -- in 2021 I was in Manila for 3 months; I was living predominately in BCG and really had a great time seeing the sights. But my entire time there I was isolated, even with the dating apps, I couldn't seem to meet someone I was interested in or willing to make a sincere connection. Since I was there working on assignment, I thought it was mostly about C19 but if I was being honest, it was really difficult making friends much less finding a woman that wanted more than a free meal. Fast forward 2022, I am in Boracay and made two of the best friends that I didn't think I would find. I may still be single and 50 but I think the Philippines holds more relatable relationships than the United States. Isolation.

I never found a Asian girlfriend but at 29 I married a mixed White/Indian girl, had 3 kids and then divorced at 45 because of her cheating and became a single father. My fear is actually being loved, wanted, and liked by someone that I actually like and feel the same for. It's never happened in my 47 years of life so it would be a complete shock, catch me off guard, and be a little scary since I'm use to the opposite all the time so I just quit trying. I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea also. A gift from me to you just for being who you are and all you do Pea. I think you are pretty cool and down to earth so don't change. All of these years, I have always said if God were to give a chance with another Filipina that I promise Him that I wouldn't blow it. But the years have come and gone and I have gotten older and never once did I would ever be considering moving overseas. Now I am ready for another relationship AND I am definitely moving overseas! So naturally I have the insecurities that you mentioned in this video and the ones in your videos from the very beginning. You nailed them ALL in this video and put me at ease. I am reminded of the hotel clerk and the American expat in Taipei, Taiwan, who told me to relax as I was on vacation and I wasn't here in the U.S. and didn't have to nor need to be anywhere. I can remember just standing on a street corner and looking around at the people and buildings and street signs and billboards in Chinese and being astonished that I was even there. It was then that a warm blanket of peace of mind, happiness, and contentment enveloped me. Thank you, Pea because of this video, I have that same feeling as I type this and have finally flushed that 'stinkin' negative thinking'...! I'm going for it! Plotting a course (already laid in) to Dumaguete/Valencia, Negros Oriental, Philippines...Cap'n Pea....Let's FLY...!!!!

    Ok pea 100% your face is slimmer. For me it's a feeling a belief that THE ONE IS WAITING.... That alone is good enough, at least it's something to give hope. As far as " she's after your money "... that is something every man in the US over 35 already has dealt with . I think self appearance if something each judges of there self... (50 is the new 30)... getting "old" is bettter than the alternative 😅... Trust,Honesty,Loyalty....Find those 3 things and everything else will fall into place... Great video ✌ pea

    • @silas6328
      @silas6328 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'll do you one better: there's no such thing as "the one." At least not until after you've found her. No one is perfect and so no one is perfect for you. Love is not something that happens to you, that's just hormones. Love is a choice that you make every day for the sake of the one you have chosen. You choose to love her imperfections, or at least love her in spite of them, and you trust her to love you in spite of yours.
      Be picky, but the fear of choosing a good woman that is not "the one" is irrational. Choose well and she will BECOME the one. She is a whole other person so she will annoy the crap out of you for years, maybe decades, and you her, but "love covers a multitude of sins."

    Having been in the Philippines for almost a month, my biggest concern about living here is the reliability (or lack thereof) of the power grid, how hard it is to find an apartment with air conditioning, the lack of seatbelts in cars, and the fact that most food here is unrefrigerated (something that has made me sick for almost a week so far)

    Thanks for the video Filipina Pea!!!!
    My fears are all based on all the experience I have and what and who I faced.
    9 out of 10 philipinas that I met and who are living there were golddiggers, even the Godly ones!!! that is factual evidence! I heard all the stories and 9 out 10 that I helped was a lie!!!! keep in mind that 185 houses were built in Davao which was a legitimate request and a Messianic brother who needed an eyes operation to be able to work was legit and I feel blessed to be helping!!!
    I fear God, not people! however who I seek must be godly regardless if she is European, Asian, or African!!!
    I prefer Asians, Philipinas precisely but I have to be honest, from all the Philipinas that I dated since High School, even when I was not godly at all, I noticed this about them: Jealous, secretive, passionate, loving, caregiver, liars, cheaters, only 3 that I knew that they were wife material and I regret not loving them as they loved me! one in particular, was a workaholic, taught in a private school, also run her online business, she was very ambitious, she kept the Shabbath and on Sunday she taught the Bible to children! she was the only Catholic that was not an idolater
    2014 I met her in Toronto while fighting for custody of my little boy! She did not need me at all! She made around $3500 CND per week from her business and at least $1000 CND weekly from teaching! I left her because I was a totally idiot!!!!!!!
    her kindness, her patience, her humility, and her qodesheness, holiness, qodesh means more than holy, means committed, dedicated, set apart from the world. 3 out of 60 and 1 super catch is rare!!!!
    I fear that i love to easy and give too much to the wrong people and the best i let her go.....Filipina Pea my standards are high and I do not lower them for anyone however I have been homeless, I been rich, I was raised in a home similar to the one you were raised in Leght . ....
    I wrote something in 2019 and asked our Heavenly Father for the woman He sent to be my wife to say those words and I would know that to be a sign. Until then I practice Celibacy,....
