I'm from Britain and what we call cornflour Canadians/Americans call it cornstarch. So, is the "cornflour" you're using for the cornbread the same as cornstarch? If not, can I turn cornmeal into corn-flour?
Hi Molly! Great question. I believe corn flour and cornmeal are pretty similar and can be used interchangeably. I was using masa harina which is a fine cornmeal, but it’s no where near as fine as cornstarch - that’s more of a thickener than a starch you would bake with.😉
Hey girl! Hope you’re well. I’ve actually used those vegan butters and stuff in the past but I stopped because I realized that even though they might be marketed as healthy, they are actually super processed and have lots of chemicals, which I why I would prefer to stick to butter, coconut oil or olive oil.😊
Wow!! I love your shirt as well as your recipe!!
Thanks!!
QUEEN + Cornbread! The best combo!

Another great video, I'm gonna try this without the spicy jalapeño 😋😋

Hi Brittanie, I have a Dairy free diet (as you know, thank you), you can now purchase plant based butter blocks or spreadable dairy free butters.....🥰
