Have you drive on this road? What is your favorite mode of transportation while on it? lol!

Driving on the Nordschleife is nothing about transportation. It is pure driving. You sit in your car, or maybe on your bike, the best case is, you are a part of your car or your bike, and do nothing else than drive. Important is a good suspension. A normal every day car is not a good choice, to drive the Green Hell. I would never drive with bikes on the roof. For me, every lap i did, was a great fun. I was lucky, had no crash in more than 100 laps i did. Ah yeah, for a passenger it is a bit like a roller coaster.

Nope, it's not a public road. It is still a race track, used for various races throughout the year: 24 hours of Nürbugring, ADAC GT Masters, GT World Challenge Europe, div. brand trophy series … even a music festival happens annually there (Rock am Ring). Many companies test their cars or prototypes of their future cars there. And if all this does NOT happen, any fan can turn up with his car and drive one (or more) laps for a fee - after signing a declaration that he is aware that his insurance will not pay for any damage and that all damage is to be paid for by the driver himself.

The Nordschleife, also known as The Green Hell, is a privat oneway tollroad. You pay a fee, 30 € from Monday to Thursday, Friday to Sunday 35 € a lap, and you can drive.

the part with the helicopter could be part of a "competition"?!
Sabine Schmitz "R.I.P. The Queen of the Ring"
made a video for a car magazine (found here on YT) as part of a bet "Who is faster? Her in the racing car or the helicopter!!! She also made driving in transporters on the Nordschleife popular after a show with Top Gear, where she competed against Jeremy Clarkson

The Nürburgring is a race track - there is the new race track and the Nordschleife from the video. Anyone can race there with their private car. As far as I know, you do this at your own risk. By the way, the Nordschleife is one of the longest race tracks in the world with a length of around 25 kilometers and it is a very old track that was opened in 1927. Formula 1 races took place there until 1976, when Niki Lauda almost died in a serious accident and that ended the Formula 1 time on the Nordschleife; The later Formula 1 races have been held at the new Nürburgring since 1984. th-cam.com/video/iekU1OQzHuM/w-d-xo.html

No, you can't. It has to be road legal and the Nürburgring is actually just a closed "public" road with entrance fee during "Touristenfahrten".

This is not a public road. The Nürburgring has a GP cirquit where most official races take place. What you see in this video is the Nordschleife, it can be connected to the GP course in different layouts. Some days there are tourist drives where everbody can buy a ticket and go for a lap. There are rules though, even if this looks chaotic. Sports car manufacturers use their Nordschleife lap times to show hie capable the car is, its hell of a demanding track.
