Mine released the spade bit once already ( gen 4 ) 🤷🏾♂️… but overall, more reliable than the original gen 3 collet. I was being pretty aggressive when I caused it to release the bit. My whole intent was to test its holding power. My gen 3 got to the point where i’d have to stop working and try getting collet to retain the bit after it released. Annoying… glad I picked up 2 gen 3.5’s as back ups.
Are you seeing the collet issue in the Gen 4 as you saw in the Gen 3?
No I haven't, the collet on the gen 4 seems to be alot better since they added I second ball bearing to it
