Maybe go grab the stubby
I bought my 029 farm boss in 1996. Still runs and cuts like crazy. I used it yesterday July 18,2024. Started on the second pull.
Battery is everything on a tool just facts.
Use a 1.7 powerstack
Whats the material limestone?
@@bobbobby602 just a concrete block
@powertoolinnovations mmmmm okay thanks
Just ordered one yesterday, I’ve been using a makita impact. It’s not bad but It has trouble busting bigger or rusted bolts. So pumped to try this
Quality vs garbage milwaukee is quality you fanboys guess what is the garbage one
Useless comparison bc they were not designed for this type of application
Good way to break your impact driver. This application calls for a DRILL!
Wow
Sheeeesh
The question about more power is a common misconception that people have, and Dewalt doesn't do much to make it clear. The Flex Volt battery does Not supply more power to the tool. It only supplies 20 volts to a 20 volt tool, the same and the 20v max battery does. It just lasts longer in a 20 volt tool. The way the flex volt system is works is that the tools have different pin configurations that connect to the battery differently so as to either supply 20 or 60 volts depending on what the tool runs on. The battery basically has three 20V cell stacks in it. One pin configuration connects them in series which triples the voltage to 60 and the other connects them in parallel which, in theory, should triple the run time. Although, 50% more is not triple, but you'd have to test that. So the power and performance is no different. The flex battery just lasts longer.
Yeah, like that 1/4" drive wont snap in half on something that hasnt already been loosened
Power is excellent, build quality is OK, but the ergonomics are really poor. The reverse switch gets in the way of your hand and is easily pressed, especially when using in awkward positions or left handed, likewise, if you are using it right handed for loosening multiple screws, the reverse switch is always in the way or getting accidentally pressed. The collet is also pretty poor and kind of wobbly, so if you are using longer bits, it moves all over the place. The drill chuck is the same.
I believe the recommended torque for Toyota is 76 ft lbs. Very impressive, though.
M12 is in my bag
Just cuz it can do something doesn’t mean it should lol, you’re just asking to break that adapter sooner or later
Giving pricing information is useless. This video will be up for 10 years but that price will only be current for a week or so.
@@gregbarry5875 they actually run this price pretty regularly on holiday specials and Black Friday each year
How’s it compare to a normal m12?
They still sell that "older" impact driver. It is brushed while the newer one has a brushless motor.
But the dewalt still drives it in right? I get paid by the hour.
Milwaukee just not durable
I have been using DEWALT for a while and just purchased the m18 gen 4 and I can tell a major difference in power I am impressed with Milwaukee myself.
Is that the 1/4 bit driver
@@ivanalers4048 yep
Horrible ergonomics on the M12 Gen 3
@@Ferbeldeyberb honestly I don’t mind it but it just boils down to personal preferences
Can't wait for the 1007
if only they made a m12 12ah
if it ain’t red keep it in the shed
Do that again, but show us you torquing this lug nut to specs. I’m a fully assumed Milwaukee fan boy but even I have to doubt this is real.
Put the dewalt in speed 2 and try
I knew you was left handed when i seen the Milwaukee gloves 😅
Comparing a 12v against a 20v use m18 for an even comparison not m12
This is true , even the old gen 2 will do that
No experience with these tools. But the M12 3/8 & 1/4 Ratchet are my favorite tools.
Your wheel lugs were not properly torqued.
What kind of a competition is this the driver is made for this the wrench isn't, it's not built for speed if ur going to go head to head use the same tools stop being ridiculous
lol don’t watch it’s that simple 👍
Im more curious which brand is more reliable
It’s a toss up, honestly they are both reliable brands but everyone has their preference
I'm a Milwaukee guy but I do have one dewalt the 845 and I tell u all 3 of my Milwaukee wobble just as bad as that dewalt one is even worse as for flex can't say don't own one never will batteries are crap
850 gets the job done its not a race on site 😂
Like butter 🧈
12v vs 20v
It's a good impact. It does what I need it for quite nicely. I wish it had a speed select but other than that, excellent.
The 840 is decent. I have one and it does a great job. I do wish it had a speed select, but other than that, it's excellent.
With my Ingersoll-Rand weighted power sockets, my m12 gen 3 driver busted CV shaft nuts loose that were known to be previously torqued to 250 lb-ft. People sleep on the m12 stuff but they are sine powerful little tools
With the XC5.0 High Output, the Milwaukee would be the winner for sure.
Okay man this was an unfair test. The fuel had a head start
Some tools are better on one brand than the other. It all boils down to personal taste. So I owed both Milwaukee and dewalt. Gives me a reason to go out and buy a new tool once in a while 😅
I’m not saying it’s not possible, but damnnn that came off hella easy! I need one
Congrats on getting one of the Gen. 4s that isn't defective. Hopefully Milwaukee will do the right thing and issue a recall soon before they tick off their loyal customer base.
Shitwalkee blown 2 of those pcs of garbage up in the last 4 months new one going bad on first day of use.. seen another one owned by co worker the trigger fell off brand new out of box..I’m still using a Dewalt impact and batteries from 2016 that would still eat that shit for breakfast.. true comparison is how long will it last and function… Dewalt all day everyday!!
