As a flatbed truck driver, I go through a lot of gloves. I’ve found that if you pick your favorite glove and add some shoegoo to the frequent wear areas, any glove will last 5-10 times as long. Im sure I’m not the first person to think of it, because it works so great. Bonds to most any material. If you’re replacing gloves frequently because the same one or two spots on the glove wear thru way before the rest of the glove is worn out, I’d highly recommend it.

If they’re gonna branch out into other categories they should make sure they’re delivering the same superior quality or just don’t bother. There’s plenty of average and cheapo brands making basic tools and supplies already, we don’t more options in that market segment. I use my tools for work and although I extensively research all of my purchases, it’s really nice when you find brands that you can trust the quality of anything they stamp their logo on. Researching ahead of time is always good practice but it can also be extremely time consuming, if I need a power tool I don’t have to do that anymore because I know exactly who to buy. I want the same thing for all my purchases. Although for hand tools I’m very impressed with Tekton so that’s somewhat solved. Just wish they were for sale at Home Depot, time is money some days.

Yeah, I can agree that they're definately not just slapping their name on anything. These tests have actually changed my opinion, because I would have thought they just slapped their name on average stuff, but they don't.

i have noticed this too in his testing. it seems like on most items if it says Milwaukee on it, its gonna be expensive, but its gonna pretty damn good. not always the best in category, but really good, better than most of its competition.

Thanks. Based on your results and the type of work that I do, I chose to go with the ironclad gloves. A different version but very similar. They've been holding up rather well and I'm happy with them overall.
