This mans breathing is right on point in every movement he does. Notice he breaths through the nose thus increasing his nitrate oxide production and he uses a rhythm that is in perfect harmony with each movement. Breathing correctly is vital to achieving this level of discipline.
Yes it’s impressive. I think about it a lot when I’m landscaping. Digging holes and moving stuff.
@@jedmcdonald4695 yup breathing right will give you longevity through anything rigorous, and while also keeping you mindful, and centered ( in the now)
Solid Gold right here. We are all very lucky to have this guy around here.
That's an understatement
100% 👍
Doing the horse stance has brought me so much energy. Thank you so much, Shifu!
Amitabha / Amituofo - The thigh muscles when used help promote blood flow to the brain. Kinda like the reason pilot's do G training. Keeping blood in the brain! A no brainer right? 😁
This video is very useful to us thanku sir
Very good instruction. Thank you.
this shit is harder than it looks especially if you have bad posture. its also why training horse stance is the basis it helps with balance, good foot positioning and also clear mind
This gentleman is incredible.
This is very good workout for thights and for hips. Hips and strong legs are essential. not only for kicks, but also for boxing, throws and groundfighting. I try to training like this and it helps me a lot for better kicks, im better in hand techniques and knees, because my kicks were not realy good, stiff and not so high, but that training methods help me a lot. Horse stance also is very good training for wrestling. Thank You.
A brilliant lesson. Thank you & respect from England 👍
Ян Лей, благодарю тебя за тренировку, друг!
I'm so glad I found your channel. 🔥🔥🔥
The sound coming from the steel qigung brush is astounding.
Thanks again for your lessons Shifu for the horse stance training
Yaa
Thank you very much Shifu for the horse stance training
Very explosive training.
Whoa. That’s a workout. I never done any of this before so I’m beat after just a few minutes, and I probably did it wrong but. I’ll get ittt!!! 🙏 tyty for video
The power behind his kicks are unbelievable! Wow
I watch his arms counter his kicks to keep balance if you get my meaning. Very very impressive and inspiration. I wanted to see him accidentally kick with the right leg through the wall 🤣
Great L earnings! Hard work and perseverance will be good friends! We are grateful!
intense!! looks very interesting from a new way of training, I'm in my 50's and enjoy calisthenics, weight training, ice hockey and remember horse stance training in my 20's while dabbling in karate. It's been years since I did the stance and really should start including it in my daily training even a few sets a day especially now that arthritis is an issue.
great video ,thank you Shifu
Thank you Shifu. 🇬🇧

Are there anyways I can correct this?
Cheers!
am i squatting low enough so that i feel as if i'm kind of sitting but in a way where it's using my leg muscles? or should i be slightly higher so my legs are more than 90 degrees?
This is part of my weekly training. 🙏
That first Horse stance with Block and Punch, I attempted it and instantly broke two bowls on my desk xP.
Peace thank you

how long can you stand in the horse stance?
I just watched this and now I have a 6 pack 😆 I'm totally going to try this and be absolutely worthless tomorrow. Great vid!!
How can you have 6 pack by doing this?
@@kentajin7860 drive to the store, and buy a 6 pack
Thank you for this video. I have a question: feet must not open externally, but must they stay perpendicularly to the shoulders' axe? In this video, as well as in other videos, it seems to me that they are slightly open. If they were perfectly parallel and looking frontward, wouldn't this posture put pressure on the knees (especially at cartilage level)?
I’ve wondered and felt the same thing. I definitely feel stress on the knee and soreness later. Question is if it’s making the knee stronger and stable or wearing it down?
@@jedmcdonald4695Lacking for response from shifu Yan Lei, I've asked my shifu. She told me that the knees may be slightly open, but the idea is to keep them staying perpendicularly to the shoulders' axe.
This video helped me a lot to understand more clearly: th-cam.com/video/HzUnN5njaHw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=O1P4orE-QzfH0HSc
The goal is to keep knees at 90 degrees and not to let them fall towards the centre.
And it's not important to get too low, but each one needs to find the right balance according to one's flexibility.
Hey, my speech as a karate practitioner, we should do this every single training
What was it you said at 5:20 to 530 is.. that's the ? I'm trying to follow what your saying as well as the movement. Thanks in advance. Amituofo

How breathing should be done ? where should i keep the awareness while breathing ? Focus ? Thanks for the coming response .
Synchronize your breath with the movements. To practice this, I do Ba Dua Jin every day as a Qi Gong exercise.
