get a tradesman van, but put the Demon engine and massive built 10 speed transmission that can both cruise and get good mileage and rip hard at the track.

@@Scottholiday13F Ya, I'd say he's around there, maybe a couple years older. I'm 61 and I swear he's just like a guy I used to know. Had an opinion on EVERYTHING, but the stuff he DID know, he was top-notch.
My guess is Danny is 63. One of my dad’s uncles remembered everything like him. He was a machinist. He owned the shop and worked 5 days a week until just before he passed away. He was 93 when he passed.

I have never liked the vinyl top. My grandmother got a new 67-69 in some weird rose/pink color with a rose printed vinyl top. Grandpa wouldn’t drive it. lol

Big block and vinyl top would probably be my vote. I’d of much rather seen you build a Nova over a Camaro but I understand rust free bodies aren’t exactly readily available like the Camaros. I’m curious how that works with getting a VIN and Title to put it on the road?

Do me a favor Camron! Press all the stuff out of those billet parts, and send them to get anodized black! Lol, I hate when companies send me raw aluminum parts! If its aluminum you anodize it black, if its steel you powdercoat it semi gloss black! Car is gonna look good man! Love what ya’ll do! If you made sprint car parts I would run all of them lol! N for the live of god do not let people coat titanium!
I worked at a trim shop for several years. We made our own trim for vinyl tops if the trim wasnt available.
My favorite part of the videos are when you guys are shooting the shit with each other for sure. Love all the builds. But the chemistry is what makes the videos!

It definitely needs to be a “House of Colors “ Candy paint color. Candy Brandywine is one of my favorites. We built a 34 Ford pickup and it was painted that color. Oh and it goes without saying, “Big Block!!!!”

Absolutely House of Colors paint. Not a damn wrap. Basically an old school car built with modern knowledge. Not really a resto mod but actually old school built with what what is known now.

A nice SML Twin Turbo from Steve Morris is my vote. Print a Vinyl pattern on wrap to get the look without the pain of a actual one.

I’m gonna be the odd man out and vote for a Coyote with twin turbos just to anger the GM guys. 🙃 That be great! Buuuut if that’s out of the question I guess I’d have to go with the big block option. I’d of rather seen something other than a Camaro but it is what it is. I’d be down for a Van build!

As an old school hot-rodder, I don't get the 6-cylinder thing. As young guys we couldn't wait to pull a straight 6 and toss it in the shit can. Now a V12 LS, that would be something.
@@mchristrthe difference is in the 2JZ, the stock crank is forged and will hold 1,000 hp and the engine easily capable of double that. It’s not like the old 300 inline 6 ford or the old slant 6’s
The difference between american 6 cylinders and the 3jz is that the 2jz is the japanese equivalent of a big block@mchristr

Hi from the UK, really enjoying this channel.
Good to see a bunch of skilled craftsmen work as a team and get on like a family as they are doing it.
The respect you guys have for each other is so nice to see. Props to the guy filming {sorry I'm terrible with names} asking good questions for people like me who know nothing about all this kind of stuff, and getting the camera into all those tight spots can.t be easy.
I haven't got bored once watching any episode and that's good coming from me.

Right before Christmas of 2020 I remember really well and I'm one of those that don't hardly ever remember yesterday! I had COVID for the first and last time of my life. I got 10 days off of work and enjoyed the vacation! I was on a forced vacation and Danny was changing careers! How cool!

I first ran into a single bolt mount for tires on old MG and Jaguar cars in the late 40s and 50s. I think the origin goes back to the horse and buggy days.The bolts were in the form of knock-offs, and they worked great as long as you didn't cross thread them.
Big block w/twins .Black base coat with candy green over the top. And a black vinyl top. Also great name!
Cameron, I'm loving all the ideas you put before us. I love the vinyl top idea, which is optional. Color wise, a late model Honda Accord dark blue with a silver or white sports stripe would be excellent. Big block all the way to the front with twin turbos!! I am really looking forward to the end result of this dream that is becoming a reality. This is so AWESOME!!!

I had a Black 76 Tradesman van with the swing out doors front and back, blue shag carpet from floor to ceiling with a bed in the back. It had a Pioneer cassette stereo in the middle of an overhead console with dual 100 watt equalizer amps on each side.. I had it senior year.. Picking up dates was always an issue with that rig, lol.. It was the "Spicoli van"
