1:50 this one is incredible on almost every single game where you can get sorrounded, the enemies take turns to attack you, and you can deal with them one by one. Here you just get mobbed
The 1st detail has no sense, because there is no wound on Joel's forearm, so as on his shoulder too. Look at Bill's backpack when he leans to the car. THAT is the incredible detail

Picking up Bill’s thrown away letter is actually an achievement and the way it describes it makes it seem like Frank discarded a different letter so I spent so much time just walking around the house looking for a balled up paper when all I had to do was give the one I picked up to bill lmao

@@A_HDMI There were ways they could have balanced the crouch run out, like make the npcs hear a noise when your crouch running and they get curious and investigate, or make it take more stamina while crouch running, so once you run out of stamina while crouch running it forces you to stay in place for a bit to get your stamina regenerated.
I think you’re basing that off the demo where one animation played where Joel dodged someone’s swing, but that’s actually just a played up version of the countering system that already exists in the game where sometimes if a human enemy swings at you as Joel, you’ll get a chance to counter their attack. Only Part II has the directional dodging system that creates actual dynamic melee fights wherein you can feasibly fight off a stalker, armed human or runner, so that like for example in the forest Stalker fight as Abby you’ll be having full on bobbing and weaving fistfights with Stalkers so that you have to time dodges and your own attack windows based on telegraphed enemy moves. For the original there wasn’t ever anything like that planned or if it ever was it was scrapped in ideation.

Kinda of a missed detail from naughty dog is when Joel is leaving the gun bench there is already a round in the chamber even though we watch him eject one and close the chamber before inserting the mag when leaving the gun bench still a cool detail though.

I hate how when I'm running from infected trying not to get surrounded and jumped like dude from the "Fight Back!" video, Ellie and Bill will run towards me and bring all the infected my way just to hide behind me and watch me get my ass beat into oblivion anyway 😑 lol
It's added simply to immerse the player whenever they're wounded. It's not like the player will rotate the camera 360 degrees to check if the character actually has a wound on that spot whenever he/she needs to heal. It's a cool detail. Stop complaining.

then comes MGS 2, GTA4, Mafia 1, and Dragons Dogma for its scale. i dont mind praising a linear derivative game for its scale which was an AAA title to have this much graphics or details.. its like praising a Control/returnal which was a corridor shooter to offer realtime RTX.
As others have said, you could already do some of these in the PS4 version (crumpled note, rain on head, Ellie looking at artifacts, etc). It doesn't look good for you when you claim these are all new things in the PS5 remake when they clearly aren't.
Kind of disappointing when you ejected all of your ammo from the magazine on the gun bench and it still showed you had ammo loaded into a magazine. I thought naughty dog paid more attention to the little details.
my mans rig is fuckin insane, then again i only got a half functioning 2080 in mine and it ran pretty damn well buuuut still :) it makes ray tracing look like ass but it can handle it
i found a neat little detail regarding blood in this game when getting shot directly during combat, blood from bullet wounds will run down joels arms and drip from them

The safe cracking was on TLOU 2, I noticed it on like my first safe and used it to crack all of them going forward, never had to look for codes
